Just sharing .

No big party. Just going to a friends for a BBQ. I need to find time today to ice the two little monkey cakes to bring. Cross your fingers I get a long nap out of them.

Wow....that was a speedy two years. In the thick of it it feels like some days drag but it really does go by super fast.

Karen - spouse to dh for 11 years, mama to ds (Nov '02), dd (May '05) and ds and dd (Jun '08)

I'm sorry I missed your milestone, but congrats just the same! If your duo is two, I know it's just around the corner for my guys, too. (In 20 days, now.)

I can relate to your comments of "a fast two years." Days dragging and all, but yeah, a blur.

I hope it was a wonderful BBQ and fun times. We are going to be on vacation (we have a cottage on Cape Cod) during the week of the boys' birthday, which I think will be special. Our house is in no shape for a party (and no shape to get "in shape" quickly), so it's actually a relief. (And we have family in Boston so maybe will even be able to invite some folks to come join us and BBQ for the occasion, if we actually plan ahead.)

You really do start to come out of the fog little by little, I am finding.

Best wishes for a wonderful third year.
