So a few days ago I woke up in the wee hours of the morning in labor. We ended up having to stay in the hospital for a little while but were able to stop labor with medication. Before leaving they did a repeat ultrasound and discovered that one of the boys (baby B, Seamus) has not been growing.
Yesterday we met with specialist and Connor (babyA) is 1 pound and an ounce bigger than his brother Seamus (babyB). I am on complete bed rest and will be going twice a week to have the boys checked on. If Seamus doesn't start to grow then I will be put on bed rest at the hospital. If they start showing distress then we will have to go ahead and have them. They also checked the boys lungs and thankfully Connor's look good but sadly not so with Seamus. If you are the praying sort we sure could use as many as we can get.
I am taking meds at home for contractions that make me feel loopy and am using oldest dd's laptop which is missing a bunch of keys and takes forever to type anything. Just wanted to let all of you know what was going on and that I am reading and such, just wont be talking as much.

Loved wife to JT and grateful mother to M (dd age 13) L (dd age 10) T (ds age 6) A (ds age 4) E (dd age 2) and C & S (twin boys born 10/13/10)
and yes, I blog. thumb.gif

Oh no! I will be thinking and praying for you. Sending lots and lots of grow baby grow vibes too! Give it about a week or two for meds and you will feel a lot less loopy.

Keep us posted!

I'm not a twin mom, I accidentally clicked on the multiples forum! But I read your post and I'm praying for you and your boys. Lots of good healthy baby vibes for you!

Thank you all. Today has went well, with bed rest and everything I havent had a single contraction today. Let's hope and pray that the boys are doing better in there as well!
My husband talked to his boss today and is now on FMLA. This is putting us in a very awkward situation financially. We have enough cash to pay about 1 months bills but will be lost after that, also there is the issue of my appointments being 1 and 2 hours away from home. Does anyone know of organizations that help in these sort of situations?
