BOO.  At my 30 wk US both baby A and baby B have both flipped breech.  I've been going to the chiropractor and I guess I will I increase the visits to every week.  I also plan to go for acupressure and I've been checking out spinning babies.com.  Any other suggestions?

I'm a little pissed.  I haven't been very physically active during this pregnancy and I really slacked off with the yoga.

BOO again.

You still have time!  My babies were both very active still at this time.  It wasn't until my last US (36w) that both babies were head down, but even after this, B still flipped breech regularly.  She was head down the day before birthday and flipped breech during birth.  Midwife turned her back and I won't finish the lengthy birth story because it is beside the point, and still a little traumatic for me, but we're all safe and healthy. ;)

I think it is a good idea to speak to your babies and relax about their position.  If you are mindful of how you position your own body (resist reclining, rest side-lying instead, doing hands and knees regularly to make use of the most space in pelvis possible) you give them the best shot at positioning themselves well.

Mom to eight!!  Our twin girls arrived 3-3-2011.

Thanks for the reply.  It is encouraging to hear other people's success stories with late flipping.  My babies are super active so I am hoping baby A flips (and then stays flipped!)

my baby a stayed breech pretty much my entire pregnancy, only flipping vertex one time at about 27 weeks...

we went on to having a very easy home birth of two breech babies...breech is a variation of normal. so are twins. i did have to find a provider that was comfortable and experienced w/ breech delivery...and i do admit, i was nervous all the way up until after my water broke...but having birthed two breech babies now, i would say its not that much different...and perhaps a bit easier!

becky.

Well my Ob is only willing to deliver vaginally if A is vertex.  And as far as hospital births in my area it is very difficult to find an OB willing to deliver a singleton breech (much less twins).  I am okay with my choice of OB and I while I am still hoping for a vaginal delivery I came to terms a while ago that I am more likely to end up with a c-section then if this was a singleton pregnancy.  The babies are constantly moving and I know B has been flipping vertex and breech - I'm just not quite sure what A is doing.  I still have lots of time so I'm not going to worry until I hit my next ultrasound at 35 weeks.

Even with my triplets one had room to turn from vertex to breech just a few days before the birth. For twins you still have lots of time.
