I love coming to this forum and talking to all of you. But MDC is huge and I rarely "run into" any of you other places. Where do you hang out? Post, lurk, either one.

I generally lurk on Parenting, Gentle Discipline, Family Bed/Nighttime Parenting. I infrequently lurk on the breastfeeding forums here. I post occasionally on Toddlers, Homeschool, Nutrition, Babywearing. I post more frequently on Diapering, perhaps more even than here (gasp).

Where do you go?

Oh - also, I spend some time on the breastfeeding twins forum at the Twins Magazine site and occationally at ovusoft.com as well. I find that I spend more and more time here at MDC though.

Hope to "see" you around the Commune!

I guess I can most frequently be found on the vax & health boards. Sometimes the healthy eating, entertainment & diggin in the earth boards. Outside of MDC I'm usually at NFO.

Hi Amy!

I think I visit most of the boards. My favorites are parenting, gentle discipline, talks amongst ourselves, eating, toddlers and diapering . I usually just read and not post, because when I am on the computer, I am usually eating at the same time. As soon as the boys fall asleep for their nap, I grab some food and jump on the computer.

I used to be on the twins message board ALL the time, but have found the same topics coming up again and again. There is always something new here so i come here now instead.

After I read all the new posts, I visits WAHM sites. Even though I dont buy too much, I love to see all the cute things that people create.

This is the first board I come to when I visit MDC. I also visit the Breastfeeding boards...especially BF'ing Advocacy. I've also browsed the other boards here.

Twins Mgazine has a bf'ing board now?? I left that place when I got into a HUGE rift with a guy who was giving advice to a girl on letting her 2-month-old twins CIO. He was spouting all kinds of crap about CIO and what his doctor had told him. I host the Breastfeeding Multiples board at Baby Center.

Karen - Mama to Haven (9/00) , Lillie & Faith (MZ - 12/02) and my first homebirthed baby, Willa (3/08)

Interesting to see where everyone goes!

Regarding Twins Mag's discussion boards, there are more vocal devotees of the dreaded CIO (though not on the BFing forum as you might expect) than vocal devotees of AP practices. I once put up a question, though, on how many people DON'T do CIO and got a huge response. Apparently the only ones having troubles that required asking for support were those using CIO. There's such pressure out there, though - I just responded there to a post from a woman who is hearing, according to her, from EVERYONE that she needs to let her fully BFed 6 1/2 month olds (all 18 lbs each of them, by the way!) CIO. I responded that I wanted her to hear at least ONE voice saying that it's good to do something different, after which I elaborated.

Anyhoo, I like it here at MDC better, I just wish we had a more active twins forum. I'd love to chat more with twin moms specifically.

OK, back to topic!

I just rediscovered this multiples thread, so I'll be here more often. When I checked it last summer, it wasn't very active.

I go to my Sept 04 mamas thread in Life with a Babe; Trading Post swaps and diapers; used to be on Diapering a lot but not lately; hmmmm I guess that's it. I need to check out the babywearing and EC forums to learn about those new things.

I also visit TwinsMagazine. Was on there a lot during the pregnancy, enjoying stirring things up a bit (natural vaginal delivery, no circ, etc.)... but it is pretty irritating sometimes. I pretty much just visit the Twins First Year board there under my due date club (sept 04). I was pleasantly surprised at the bf board, and even found some cloth diaperers...

The twin site I REALLY can't stomach is the TwinStuff site. Those mamas seemed worse than the ones at TwinsMag...

I'm new here and I realize I'm late to this party, but I just wanted to say I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one. I used to post at Twinstuff quite a bit, but just couldn't take it anymore.
