One of my best friends is pregnant with twins and will be returning back to work after just a few months off (she's an l&d nurse - works 3 12-hour shifts a week). She's concerned about her ability to satisfy twins and also pump enough for them. Are there any resources I can point her to? She is very pro-bf and really wants this to work.

There's a sticky at the top of this forum with some must-have resources. She will especially want to purchase Karen Kerkhoff Gromada's Mothering Multiples from LLL (soon to be out in a new edition, possibly with one of our own MDC twin mamas on the cover!). Also check out her website at The information on EBFing twins, pumping, and juggling all that's involved in twin mama-hood (plus work) is invaluable.

Congrats to your friend! Tell her about MDC and have her post here too!

There's a yahoo group called PumpMoms

Everyone there is very supportive. Some of them even exclusively pump
