I have 2 1/2 old twin boys....I am patient with out expectations on when my boys will be ready to potty train with success...One boy, has some interest, but not much...The other, Gabriel, has been using the toilet for almost 9 months. Not perfectly, but still using it.

2 weeks ago I have had him to the point of not have any mistakes going #1, and when it came to #2 he'd ask for a diaper. But with my persistance, he has finally gone #2...yeah...

Last Thursday - Sunday I went away for a little much needed alone time to NYC. Since I have been back, Gabriel is choosing not to use the toilet. he has peed on all of my furniture more than once everyday for 5 days. I will take him to the potty, and he'll say "its not working" or that he dosnt have to go, and then 5mins later he has peed someplace else. I believe that when I was away DH and my parents were not diligent. Infact, I dont think my parents even tried, and just put diapers on him.

Heres the pisser...no pun intended...When I put them down for their nap today, within 10mins Gabe had his diaper off and he asked to go pee on the potty...GREAT, i thought....I let him use the toilet, then I put another diaper on him, and sent him back to bed. 15 mins later he was asking for another diaper. he took off the 2nd one. I told him he could use the toilet, and go back to bed, but that he was going to wear underwear, not a diaper. He said "Mommy I pee on my face" he was soaked from head to toe. all over his chest face & hair. the sheets, his teddy. Apparently he laid on his back and peed. I was so aggrivated, I put him in the shower, told him I was very cranky, and sad that he did that, and I made him lay on the couch. About 20mins had passed, I told him NOT to get off the couch and i'd be right back...when I came back in he had not only peed on the couch but pooped as well....aaarrrggghhhhhhh....

why could he be doing this? I have been patient, understanding, loving, proud, rewarding. I have made it fun, I have been patient. I am attentive, and persistant...It appears to be intentional. But no signs of that until this week, after I came back from NYC. Could he be subconsciously angry with me for leaving?

A funny thing though...I said to him "You need to start using the potty" he said "Yooouuuu Betcha, mommy!" lol

Please help....
