Eden Alexandra and Avery Hannah.

We refused to do cutesy rhyming names.

Jumpin in here...I don't frequent this board often, but I do have twin girls!

We didn't do rhyming or names with the same letter.
Our girls are Avery Hope and Natalie Raine

Dana, mom to Avery & Natalie 7 , Cole 4 , and Baby #4 on the way!

Thanks! They are 3....will be 4 in October.

I was like many who posted about "knowing" the sex of the twins. I just knew I was having twin boys or maybe b/g twins, but no, we got two little girlies.

We also now have a ds who just turned 1. His name is Cole

Dana, mom to Avery & Natalie 7 , Cole 4 , and Baby #4 on the way!

We avoided rhyming/cutesy/similar at all costs...

Names were a huge challenge, but after going to twins club meetings, we were very sure we knew the names we DIDN'T want...lol

Unfortunately, in milky confusion, we gave them cutesy initials....oops

It was so hard for us to come up with names. I loved Madeleine Pearl, after our grandmothers but alas, we found out we were having twins, then identical boy twins.
For a while we thought Waylon and Devon but got so many "Waylon and Willie" jokes that we finally agreed on Alexander Lee and Maximilian Tanner, Alex and Max.
But now we usually call them Aligator and Monkey or Gator and Moomers or whatever other silly name comes out.
There's no way I would have ever done rhyming names but I do like that they sound like they 'go together.'

We didn't rhyme. They're named after their grandparents - Sonia and Joseph

WE had alot of suggestions - cusety ones like adam and eve, jack and jill. Just didn't want to do that to them, yk?

I've met a lot of twins that had cutesy names - tim and kim for one example

Did you all think of sticking to the same first initial? Not quite rhyming... but....?

WE joked around with some ...but my MIL suggested adam and eve. I think she was serious or maybe she has a really dry sense of humour.

And no we didn't consider or go with rhyming names. We actually have names where the alliteration of them confuses some people. Woopsie-daisy.:

we didnt realize out boys- William Tait and Gregory Aron had the same # of letters in their names until we brought them home.

Otherwise we went out of our way to avoid rhyming, etc. It will be hard enough for them being (albeit, very fraternal) twins!
