Every mom who has multiples...reach over & pat yourself on the back. That's from me. I don't know how you do it. Friday I babysat a 9 month old & had her again a couple hrs. this AM. My DD is 6 months old. I can't do it. I just can't. It's...it's...I dunno! I'm just not 1/2 the mama y'all are. Right now I am feeling SO much respect for MOM's...I think I'm losing my mind, you're awesome. OK.../endrant.

So, uh, again...you rock...here, have some balloons, on me!

~Marie : Mom to DS(11), DS(10), DD(8), DD(4), DD(2), & Happily Married to DH 12 yrs.!

That's very sweet. Personally I find my babies a breeze to care for, it's my older kids that drive me nuts

I figured "This is why God doesn't space babies 5 months apart." I hope I can handle twins - I may be totally loosing my mind!

I think you do great. You will probably both handle twins well and lose your mind, if you are like most of us.

Twins, IMO, are much easier to handle than two non-sibs that are very close in age. The twins are used to being around each other, plus they are both yours so you can communicate much more easily. Its really a huge difference. Once you get used to double baby duty, it really is just second nature. (Or third, if you have trips )

It takes some getting used to. You will do fine. An occasional "I am losing my mind" moment is par for the course, We are only human and we can't be perfect.

Yes, with a 'HN' first child I feel like it prepared me for my respectively 'mellow' twins.

Yes, you got a point, when I'm home with the twins without their two older siblings they play nice and are very quiet and are a breeze, but when their two sisters come home from school all hell breaks loose and I spend the rest of the time saying "Leave them alone", let them play by themselves, don't bother them. I sound like a broken record.

Thanks! My twins were #4 and #5 for me and it has been so cool having them. Watching them grow together has taught me so much. It is obvious how we have our own personalities from birth because these two are nothing alike!!

Very sweet of you! I don't remember the first 4 months they were home,There were many nights I would cry along with them from pure exhaustion, but now I can't really imagine life with just one baby! How boring and easy that would be! Having 2 giggling babies smiling at you each day has filled me with more love than I ever thought possible. I am so incredibly lucky to be a mom to twins!!!!!

I was just gonna post a thread about amazing moms of multiples. On Friday, my husband and I were at walmart checking out and he said "Look!" I turned around and saw quads! First time in my life that I've ever seen *in person* more than triplets. They were in their stroller and they also had 2 older children (around 5-6 yrs is my guess). They were shopping and had everything under control...I wanted so bad to go over but with quads I'm pretty sure they get enough of people stopping them and are probably I bit worn out. As soon as we were leaving, I turned around and glanced once more, and sure enough people were already stopping and asking them questions, so we just moved along. You moms are so amazing. Grocery shopping with a singleton baby is hard enough! I can only imagine how much patience it takes to shop with more than one. Hats off to you ladies! You most certainly have my respect.
