I haven't read all the replies, but please DO NOT put anything in your child's bottle unbeknownst to the caregivers!!! If something were to happen to your child or if he/she was to have a reaction and EMS were called, the teachers would not be able to give them all the info on what your child has ingested.

Yes I know I'm awful for doing that......however they were Hyland's homepathics, not drugs or herbs, which someone could ingest an entire bottle of tablets at once and still be safe, and he had had at home with no bad reactions, and I put one tablet in one bottle. I would not be putting motrin or anything like that into a bottle.....but I would do the Hyland's tablets again !
