I got through my first week back at work.

I even had fun, but cried 2 of 5 days from missing my guys. Every time I wasn't busy at work, I wondered, 'What am I doing here?'

The boys have been great but the Baby, 22 months, has been crying more easily this week. I feel bad.

I've been falling into bed with them at 8 and feel so exhausted. Will that end?

DH has been super. We've eaten dinners pretty well, the laundry got washed, dried, and folded (just not put away), and have had food in the house.

I hope this continues!

yes, the exhaustion feeling will end. You will get used to your new workload. And your little one will settle down over time. It's probably helping that you crash off to sleep with them at 8. When my two are ratty after being at care for three days straight, it does help just to sit with them & hold them for 10 minutes or so when we get home until they're ready to run off & play. You sound pretty organised- you should see my laundry mountain!!

I hate to say it but I disagree with aussiemom. I am more tired ever week. We have developed a routine of let the house go to pot and just try to survive, I'm counting the days until the end of the school year, I teach high school. I get zero down time between the job and the kids, it doesn't help that I never see dh, he has worked his schedule around mine to avoid day care for our baby.

Sorry to be such a downer.

Mom to ds 9 dd 7 : and dd 3/08 : if I can I go to
