I'm still doing my pre-nursing classes- officially my major is "nursing-intent", although I will have Senior status at the end of Fall 2008 because I changed majors. (Which let's me "skip" a lot of basic studies!)

Here's what I'm signed up for in a month!

Exploration of the Universe Physics and Astronomy

Fundamentls of Chemistry-Lab Chemistry

Fundamentls of Chemistry-Lec Chemistry

Human Anat & Physiol I Biology

Human Anat & Physiol I Biology

(Lecture and lab)

Quantitative Appls in Sociolog Sociology/Anthro/Criminology

I dunno how many credit hours it is, but its full-time. Thirteen or fourteen, I think.

Microbiology

I have finally finished every single last one of my pre-reqs and am starting full time nursing classes this fall. I am working on my BSN, and I am a returning student from 10+ years ago. I am a senior credit wise, and will be for the next 2.5 years

So, this fall...

Pathophysiology
Health Assesment through Lifespan (lab/lect)
Professional concepts in Nursing (lab/lect)

Because of the labs, I'll be full time, then do Fundamentals of Nursing and get my CNA over winter break. I am pleased to be progressing!

YAY!

I'm taking four of these five classes, but I haven't decided which four yet:

Human Growth and Development
Statistics
Nutrition
Marriage and the Family
Art Appreciation

I'm taking non-lab nursing pre-reqs online this fall. I decided at the last minute to go ahead and pursue nursing. YAY! :

I've been wanting to do this for several years, and the time was just never right. I got financial aid so I'm doing it!

I start my first semester of Grad school for History. This semester I am taking a required theory seminar A&B and Museum Studies. Seven hours is considered full time and I am nervous to see just how much work is involved since I will also be working there as a Grad assistant.
Good luck everyone!

Anyone taking online? Like it?
I have taken quite a few online classes. This semester I will be taking Spanish 1 online. It's ok. I like being able to sort of go at my own pace, as some classes allow. I do prefer the in-class experience though, I must say.

I am on my 3rd year of my BA in Poli Sci. I am taking Amer. Fed. Govt., Constitutional Law I, Emipirical Political Analysis, Spanish I, and possibly a 3 credit internship with the local DEC. I think that's 17 credits. :

Psych
Essentials of Teaching
Ceramics
Painting
Global Challenge

This is my first semester back after Avery's been born, at a new school with 15 credits. Oy! Little overwhelmed, especially since I need to take 18 cr. every semester until I graduate in three years.

Gotta try and see the light at the end of the tunnel, but its looking a little faint.

I'm taking:

Psychology
Biology
Chemistry
World Literature (my first 300 level class! )

It's 16 credits, and my first time back on campus in over 10 years. I took 2 online classes over the summer though. They were easy classes (Comp & Econ) from the Community college, and I got 102% in both classes. Now I'm attending a private university, and I hope the courses won't be a lot more difficult.

I can't wait to start.

Ok, I just switched my classes in order to schedule them all on one day to cut back on commuting time. So, now I have:

Spanish I
Feminist Ethics
Intro. to Public Administration
Modern Political Theory

It's 14 credits, because Spanish counts for 5.

Intro to Theatre which I'm hoping will be an easy A

Developmental Psychology

Intro to Psychology

General Speech

Probability and Statistics

British Literature II
<---writing intensive.

And I have a 7 week old DD. This semester should be interesting.

I took a mixture of online and in person classes to get my associate degree.

Now, due to not being able to rely on husband, I am taking all my classes online. I think I would enjoy having an in person class every now and then to have a little more adult stimulation but it's what works for me. I do enjoy having the freedom to do the work when and where I need to.

I am taking

Spanish I (5 credits) I'm really excited about this one and I will try to teach the kids at the same time I'm learning. Then we can converse in Spanish all day. I'll take Spanish II in the spring.

Feminist Theory (3 credits) This is going to be really interesting I think. It is lots of writing so I may have to not procrastinate so much this semester.

I've taken and am taking online classes. It's good in some instances, like not having to leave the house and can do the work whenever/wherever (kind of), but it's kind of hard if you don't understand something, it's hard to figure out/have the prof. explain without being right there.
