to Pocatello, ID! He is going to be a missionary for our church, and will be in the Pocatello area for 2 years. He is 19. He is so excited about going! He leaves here on August 5th. I just hope all the momma's up there will be so nice to him! : He has never lived in : weather before, so we are trying to determine what he needs now or later.

Been almost a year since I have been on... Life has been good. Ups & downs, but that's normal. Still only 7 children... baby is almost 3. My blog is

Idaho gets cold!! Send him with warm clothes for the winter! Perhaps mamas in the Finding your Tribe area could give you more specifics.

I bet you'll miss him.

Depending on where you live, it might make sense to just send him with some money to buy his warm clothes in ID. We live in CA and one of my brothers served in Des Moines, one in Minneapolis and one in Denver. I think all three of them ended up buying winter coats in the field because we live in a particularly warm area in CA and just can't get the kind of clothing locally that you need for winters like that. Plus, less stuff for them to lug through the MTC. Check out (I think). If I recall correctly, they'll guarantee suits for 2 yrs and they'll also ship things directly to them once they're in the field.

Oh it is going to get cold! I don't live in Pokey, a few hours south though.

I'd have him wait until he gets here to find some warm clothes. I'm sure there's cheap stores in Rexburg by BYU-Idaho.

Good luck to him!
