Yesterday my son, 15, accidently auto dialed my mom instead of me. He was asking for permission to invite a friend over. Well since he wasn't expecting grandma he was confused and took a few minutes to catch on.

My son called me and asked me to change what her name says in the phone so he doesn't do it again.

My mom later called me about 7 hours later and told me about this. She said she was tempted to tell him yes just to mess with him. She asked me if I thought that would be funny. Then gets all snotty with be when I said no.

I told her I thought that wasn't nice to potentially get her grandchild in trouble that way.

I dunno.....I could see her saying yes, calling you and letting you know and then having just a bit of fun with him over it. He's 15, not 5.

Do you mind if I ask if there is something going between you and your mom? Because it sounds like an innocent joke, and she did NOT do it, she just joked with you about it, yk?

New endeavor coming soon...

That was not her intentions. Her intentions were to have me come home and get mad for having a friend over with out inviting......

I guess some ways the joke would have been on her. It would have been the first time he would have had that and I would have told him to call with out being mad.

Wait . . . she WANTED you to get mad at him?

Focus on her good points. Hope your DS had a nice time.
