That bugs me too just because I know that NA ettiquit dictates that baby in arms is always invited if mom is invited. Even if the event is "no children". But then we as a society have lost all understanding of what baby in arms is.

I had a co-ed baby shower for both kids, but both times the guys sort of went and hung out near the food. I would have invited kids, but I was the first one in that group of friends to have a baby. I remember going to weddings when I was little. It was fun to get your best clothes dirty!
