Woah! That's just weird. A friend of mine did sleep her baby in a banana box for awhile because she came early and they had no crib (never heard of cosleeping I guess), but that was free,

Love the comment:

"The Album de Famiglia crib is totally recyclable, just like your insufferable bourgeois bohemian lifestyle!"

Ok, look at the standing baby... hello? babies drool. and gnaw. I give the box 3 minutes from the time the baby learns to pull up.

Eh, no thanks. We all ready have an old milk crate we use for a crib. No lid, but it doubles as a stool when no kids are sleeping.

I hope those babies aren't really sleeping in there. The second photo shows a gap between the mattress and box that could swallow a child.

DS, 10/07. Allergies: peanut, egg, wheat. We've added dairy back in. And taken it back out again. It causes sandpaper skin with itchy patches and thrashing during sleep. Due w/ #2 late April, 2012.

but really you'd have to be a millionare to clothe your child in this Album di Famiglia clothing line 75 dollaz for a plain grey shirt, 115 for a romper and 95 dollars for a friggin pair of black baby pants... next time im in telluride im gonna give the free pile a gooooood sorting thru. so if we put this in perspective the crib is actually pretty cheap, if we compare it to the clothing it comes out to be the price of 2 outfits so in my world 2 outfits is roughly 3 dollaz garage sale which translates to 7 dollars thrift store which is about the price i'd pay for a cardboard box with wheels

I bought a folding cardboard (box) travel baby bed on ebay for $25 about 7 years ago and no joke, my baby napped in it under my desk at work for years. Worked great, didn't have those fun wheels though. I made a cushy fabric slipcover for it so you couldn't tell it was a cardboard box. It folded up to the size of a suitcase, very handy.

First thing I noticed too.

We'll, after figuring out that wheels like the ones that came with a $90 bookcase from Costco apparently cost about $60 a pop. All this time I thought the bookcase was pricey because of the shelves, but it was the fact that they included wheels. Thank goodness it was Costco and I got a bulk discount on the four wheels.
