For me, it would be mostly about the financial aspect of it. I could not afford to replace this phone.
I do keep all my appointments on it and often forget to back it up on the computer.
So yeah, I'd be soooooo upset if it got stolen.

Replacement costs would be my only concern. I only keep songs (that are on my home PC), ring tones (that are on my OL account), and contact info (in my e-mail system).

Nothing that could not be replaced easily.

Any misspellings or grammatical errors in the above statement are intentional;
they are placed there for the amusement of those who like to point them out.

I just have a cheap phone. I also have my email address and home number taped inside the battery compartment in case I lose it, which has never happened... I guess there's no battery cover on an iphone though.

Sometimes I wonder if they purposely make it difficult to figure out who the phone belongs to and get it back to them. I've found several and just had to wait for a call from somebody who knew another way to contact the owner. If the battery's going dead that doesn't work very well.

It's not like a wallet you can just drop in the mailbox

No problem for me. My phone is just a phone. Doesn't even have pictures. I hardly use it.

Same here. I don't even know where said phone is right now, and I'm pretty sure it's low on funds too. I only have it because of the kids.

I just bought an iphone in august. I would be if it was lost or stolen. Mostly because it cost me a fortune and i would like to own it until it disintegrates!
I do have pics and other private information on it, but it is password protected. I don't have financial info on it other than banktexting. All they could find out is my last four transaction amounts and my balance (not that i have any money)

I back it up regularly as well.

I'm another one with a prepaid phone. It doesnt even have photo capability. And i think there are 3 numbers saved in it, 2 for dh and my bff. Not a big deal.

I have a new pre-paid phone but I use it for everything. I put all the important things in the calendar and have alarms set to remind me to pump when I'm at work. I'd have to go out and buy another one right away just to keep up with those things. All the phone numbers are either in my e-mail, DH's cell, or our home phone so that would be the easiest part to fix.

While I do have one of those LG*envy touch phones I do not have anything but phone numbers stored on it and it is insured so it really wouldn't be a big deal.

nope, every time you sync your iphone it backs it up on your computer. I upgraded my old phone to the new one when it came out and it was effortless, I just told it to restore my new phone with previous iphones backup. It was set up exactly like my previous one when it was done.

How did I know Arduinna would be on top of this?

This is a tree on fire with love, but it's still scary since most people think love only looks like one thing instead of the whole world. *

yes it would be, but not because sensitive information is on it. It would be a huge deal beacuse we don't have a landline so it is the only way my deployed husband can call me. sure we could still email, but when he CAN get to a phone, its nice to actually hear his voice.

It would be no big deal because I don't keep any personal info on it. I also pay the $5 a month to locate all the phones on my family plan, so I'd know exactly where my phone is as long as it's turned on.

I don't keep my bank info or datebook on my phone, but I would be *so* bummed if it was stolen. It went missing about a year ago. Some UV punk of a kid took it, messed around with it, then snuck it back where I would find it. I was beyond peeved.

We got our iPhones as refurbs, and only paid $50 each for them. There is no way I could afford to replace my phone at the full price.

I love my tuner and metronome apps, and checking my email from work. I would be so disappointed to go back to a cheapo phone.
