I just posted in Sprituality about my UU church and cultural appropriation. There are alot of things within the church that I attend - and UU'ism in general - that feel really icky to me.

I live in a white, white, white part of the world. I think that UUs are pretty white in general and I have a hard time with some of our ceremonial rituals and actions.

Could those of you that are well-versed in CA please check out my thread? I'm really wanting some dialogue about this. I've never really LOVED my church, I mainly go because my dh and my dd love it there. I think that I would rather go to Unity, personally. My dh is very much a humanist, so this is hard for him. So, we stay at the UU church.
