I love Oregon Chai (and not the "Slightly Sweet," either...I want ALL the sugar!) when it's on sale.

I buy whatever candy bar I like that is on sale that week, and you'd better believe I eat it all on the way home.

I no longer buy really cheap, lousy coffee.  I don't get the most expensive, either.

I buy brand-name wipes.  They work better for us and they rip more easily if I just want to use part.

I like brand-name (Planter's) Dry Roasted Peanuts.

I can't drink alcohol, but we get a six-pack a week of NA because we love the taste (it does have a trace amount of alcohol, BTW).

I get a 2-liter of generic Root Beer for pizza night.  And it's delicious.

Food worshippers unite...

i always cruise the day old bread shelf from the bakery- I can't justify paying full price for that crap, but I will buy discounted donuts, danishes, pull apart cheesy bread, etc.

I love chocolate milk- and that weird coffee flavored milk, I'm not so into the violent pink "strawberry" milk, but when the mood hits...

Hmmm...what are Braggs?

I have a new love for chocolate almond milk.  Regular milk gives me...uh...let's just say tummy troubles since I had my second child.  Why?  Got me.  Got (no) milk.

I went through some desperate Diet Dr. Pepper lean times when I was pregnant.  I wanted it so badly that I would buy a can, take three gulps, and pour out the rest since I knew it was not exactly the greatest thing for the fetus.

Nutella is very, very special.

I think Braggs is rootbeer or something like that.

I have to buy peanut butter cookies.  The only cookie I like and they have to be from the bakery.  I also buy a 12 pack of pepsi and redbull.  Not much into coffee.  I do like turkish coffee though.

Around here Braggs are liquid aminos and you use it like soy sauce.

I love Amy's macaroni and cheese.

Braggs Liquid Aminos - it's along the lines of Maggi, or...tamari, sort of.  You can spray it on salads for a salty/vinegar-y taste.  yummy.gif

Food is about all we splurge on, heh.

Fresh mozzarella for making caprese salad.

Kombucha--not my bag, but DH loves it.

Stuff to make really good, fresh salsa.

Teecino--it's like coffee, but made from grain and caffeine-free.

German chocolates, like Kinder or Milka

Nutella is eeevil--it doesn't last long around here!

Hagen Daz ice cream (cookie dough)

cream for coffee as opposed to milk

sea salt

peppercorns

shallots

kettle cooked chips

tolberone

Rare occasions - $5 coffe drinks from starbucks with whipped cream and chocolate or caramel drizzle.

Yoo-Hoo bag.gif with its HFCS and all... but it has to be the refrigerated kind in the milk carton, not the bottles or juice box-type things (there is a difference!). I won't let myself get it very often, but when I do, it's gone within the day.

Yes, but more like watered down chocolate milk with tons of sugar. I know, it sounds gross... It was one of those special treats from childhood, so it must just be the nostalgia factor that keeps me buying it. redface.gif

I look wistfully at it whenever I pass it in the store.  Like a long lost hazelnut lover.  Sigh.  I like to put it on biscotti and dip it in good strong coffee with lots of milk.  Oh my, it is so good.  But we can't have it in the house.  I think the last time we did, I actually hid it in the bathroom so I could sneak in and eat spoonfuls where DS wouldn't see me.

My guilty pleasures range from grape popsicles, to bagels (yummm), to these Amy's microwave meals.  They're so very convenient!

Twice a year I'll buy those "thumbprint" cookies with sprinkles on the sides and icing on the top from the grocery store bakery. blush.gif

Once every two years I'll buy a Twinkie pack.

Mostly I don't bring junk food home that I like because I am a complete pig.  (No Pop Tarts for us!)

I must have diet soda on hand at all times and I think that's a splurge.

My K-Cups for my Keurig.

Crab Legs are purchased for special occasions.

i literally threw a dancing fit when our grocery store started selling the BIG nutella container.  (cinnamon raisin bread/bagel with peanut butter and nuttella, anybody?  kind of like a healthy meal but not.)

i also will sneak frozen pierogies.  none of us ever has time to make them from scratch but i love.

i have also been on a bacon kick.  they had organic bacon on sale and i bought every. single. pack.  to put in the freezer.  i am no longer allowed to grocery shop alone.  (WORTH IT!!!!)

Is it getting lonely in the echo chamber yet?

Ok, period necessary food- Lays chips and dark chocolate. I have to eat the sweet and then the salt. I buy the little bag of chips.

Last night I indulged in orange marshmallow chocolate covered pumpkins from Russel Stover. They were on clearance after Halloween. I also got peanut butter chocolate pumpkins. (these are shaped like pumpkin, not made of)

Good but bad food- I make a stew that starts with bacon, then you cook stew meat in the bacon grease. Add wine, mushrooms, carrots and the bacon back into the stew. Mega good but mega unhealthy.

I have spent serious money on G.T. Dave's Kombucha over the years.  I was almost glad when they changed their formula because I don't like the new kind and therefore don't have to buy it obsessively and think about it obsessively.  DH made some a few times, but it just tasted like confused apple juice.

Costco has been carrying a thick cut uncured bacon that is phenomenal. The kids sneak the leftovers from Sunday breakfast and eat them right out of the fridge.

Anybody know if Sam's Club carries it?  I love bacon.  I don't love it as much as I did when I was pregnant, when I could happily eat it three times a day, but I do love it.

I special order Mexican Coca-Cola.  It is a weekend treat for us.

Cheese and Haagen Daz, or other similar super premium ice cream, are the other other two I can think of.  Last year, I bought myself an ice cream maker and tried for months to make ice cream that could satisfy me.  No luck.  I was spending hours grating chocolate, splitting vanilla beans, cooking bases, chilling, etc.  When it came right down to it, I figured out my ice cream maker couldn't freeze the base fast enough to produce the type of ice cream I like.

Last time I tried to make vanilla ice cream, with the bean, it cost me about $9 for the ingredients so I hear you on this one!
