What is in my bra?

So I guess this is my story for any of those "You know you're a mom when..." articles.

I nursed my 14mo at about 7:30 yesterday morning and then left to go teach summer school. I picked her up at my parents' house at around 12:30, sat down to nurse, un-hooked my bra, and discovered...a ping pong ball.

Yes, that's right, I walked around for five hours teaching school, and never knew that there was a ping pong ball in the middle of my bra.

Anyone else got a story to share?

Ha! Good one.

My girls often store things in my cleavage. Usually rice crackers.

One that I can't blame on them, though, happened before they were born. At work I usually clip my pen to the opening of my shirt. One night I lost it. Searched everywhere. Couldn't find it. Got another one for the rest of the night. When I got home I was standing in front of the bathroom mirror getting undressed. Took my shirt off and there was the missing pen, tucked into the left cup. Oh dear.

Ha, ha, ha!

Not once but twice I have had a bright turquoise belly button. Still haven't solved the mystery. Once I opened my change purse to find that a HUGE larvae had hatched from a gift acorn DC had given me. Another time I cleaned my purse before an international flight to find a pair of scissors, and then another, and then ANOTHER. Three pairs. I have small boobs so most of my stories revolve around my purse rather than my bra. ;-)

Ya, mine are small too, makes it even stranger that I don't notice these things! Maybe I'm so used to small people rummaging around in my bra that I tune it out.
Yuck on the purse larvae! I'll think of that next time a kid shoves acorns in my pocket.

Yea, that's really wild. I don't think I've ever found anything odd in my bra. I also found a Playmobile unicorn in my hair once. Great thread!

one time at the movie I thought my boobs were itchy, so I checked them in the ladies room. My bra was FULL of kettle corn. I was wearing a scooped neck dress and evidently not a lot of the kettle corn made it to my mouth.

but everything has pros and cons  shrug.gif

Yea I get food down there all the time but not from DS lol. I wear cam muscat home a lot and things fall down them.

I don't think the students saw any kind of third boob. The ping pong ball was nestled in a nice little pocket-like space under my cleavage. I get food in there all the time too - and yes it's my fault, not my kids'.

DD2, my 3yo, is totally breast obsessed, and she loves to give compliments, so this is one of my favorite exchanges:

DD: You're wearing that bra?
Me: Yes.
DD: I like your fancy bra.
(The bra is cotton and beige.)
Me: Thanks, Sweetie.
DD: Do you wear it to fancy parties?
Me: I suppose I could.
DD: When you want to?
Me: Yep.

I don't know that I've ever discovered anything weird in my bra, besides a lost necklace once or twice. But I often get undressed at night to discover that one or both of my nursing bra cups are undone and folded down, and have been for who knows how long. I tend toward thicker cupped bras too, so those fold lines under a t-shirt aren't that subtle :P
