What is in my bra?

So I guess this is my story for any of those "You know you're a mom when..." articles.

I nursed my 14mo at about 7:30 yesterday morning and then left to go teach summer school. I picked her up at my parents' house at around 12:30, sat down to nurse, un-hooked my bra, and discovered...a ping pong ball.

Yes, that's right, I walked around for five hours teaching school, and never knew that there was a ping pong ball in the middle of my bra.

Anyone else got a story to share?

Ha! Good one.

My girls often store things in my cleavage. Usually rice crackers.

One that I can't blame on them, though, happened before they were born. At work I usually clip my pen to the opening of my shirt. One night I lost it. Searched everywhere. Couldn't find it. Got another one for the rest of the night. When I got home I was standing in front of the bathroom mirror getting undressed. Took my shirt off and there was the missing pen, tucked into the left cup. Oh dear.

Hehe I wonder if your students thought you had a 3rd boob?
I think the weirdest thing I ever found was a Hulk action figure.

Ha, ha, ha!

Not once but twice I have had a bright turquoise belly button. Still haven't solved the mystery. Once I opened my change purse to find that a HUGE larvae had hatched from a gift acorn DC had given me. Another time I cleaned my purse before an international flight to find a pair of scissors, and then another, and then ANOTHER. Three pairs. I have small boobs so most of my stories revolve around my purse rather than my bra. ;-)

Ya, mine are small too, makes it even stranger that I don't notice these things! Maybe I'm so used to small people rummaging around in my bra that I tune it out.
Yuck on the purse larvae! I'll think of that next time a kid shoves acorns in my pocket.

Yea, that's really wild. I don't think I've ever found anything odd in my bra. I also found a Playmobile unicorn in my hair once. Great thread!

The hulk figure would be pretty exciting. Sadly, it is almost always food. Many many times.

one time at the movie I thought my boobs were itchy, so I checked them in the ladies room. My bra was FULL of kettle corn. I was wearing a scooped neck dress and evidently not a lot of the kettle corn made it to my mouth.

but everything has pros and cons  shrug.gif

I don't think the students saw any kind of third boob. The ping pong ball was nestled in a nice little pocket-like space under my cleavage. I get food in there all the time too - and yes it's my fault, not my kids'.

DD2, my 3yo, is totally breast obsessed, and she loves to give compliments, so this is one of my favorite exchanges:

DD: You're wearing that bra?
Me: Yes.
DD: I like your fancy bra.
(The bra is cotton and beige.)
Me: Thanks, Sweetie.
DD: Do you wear it to fancy parties?
Me: I suppose I could.
DD: When you want to?
Me: Yep.

I don't know that I've ever discovered anything weird in my bra, besides a lost necklace once or twice. But I often get undressed at night to discover that one or both of my nursing bra cups are undone and folded down, and have been for who knows how long. I tend toward thicker cupped bras too, so those fold lines under a t-shirt aren't that subtle :P
