We didn't have any good dinner food in the house, so I made a grilled cheese sandwich and steamed veggies for dd.

Then I tried to cook a frozen pizza for myself, but I burned it! :

We went to Quizno's for dinner. I had broccoli cheese soup and my husband had a turkey, ranch, and swiss sub.

Last night we had Carmelized Garlic Chicken and steamed broccoli, finished off with homemade chocolate chip cookies. I haven't figured out what I'm doing tonight yet.

Carmelized Garlic Chicken
3 tsp olive oil, plus additional for greasing foiled pan
6 cloves garlic, pressed
6 tsp brown sugar
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

1) Heat oven to 500 degrees. Line shallow roasting pan with foil, lightly grease the foil with a little oil.
2) Heat oil in a small skillet over medium-low heat until hot. Add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes or until garlic begins to soften. (Don't let garlic get brown!) Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar until well mixed. Set aside.
3) Place chicken breasts on greased foil-lined pan, spreading the garlic mixture evenly over chicken.
4) Bake for 10-15 minutes or until chicken is fork-tender and juices run clear.

Easy dinner- chicken soup. Two chicken breasts covered with water, a quartered onion, carrots, peeled cut delicata squash, bay leaf, sage, rosemary and pepper- put a lid on and came back to eat it in an hour.

(Also made cole slaw using the Vita Mix, so that was quick)
