Because I am part of the super cool tea swap going on right now and I want to send my loose tea in these bags. I *know* I have seen them somewhere, just can't remember where.

It depends on how tiny you are talking about. The super small bags could be found at bead or jewelry stores. The snack size ziplocks could be found at walmart, grocery stores, or maybe target.

You mean the snack size? (Probably 8-10 servings loose tea) or the little tiny ones?

The only places I've seen the tiny tiny ones (like 1.5x2") you usually have to order them by the case (approx 1000 bags)

You're in PA, right? Do you have a Dollar Tree close by?

At the Dollar Tree, they have a package of multi-purpose storage bags. There are 50 bags altogether:
16 small bags (2"x3½")
17 medium bags (3"x5¼")
17 large bags (5"x7¾")

The little bags and maybe even medium bags would probably both work for what you are wanting to use them for. Plus, at $1.00 for the pack, I think they are a better deal. But that's just me.

If you want to check them out, in my store they are in the same aisle as the regular ziplocks, foil, plastic wrap, etc., on the same side but at the opposite end. Does that make sense?

Anyway, I use these a lot for scrapbooking swaps and they might work for you too!

HTH!

I meant the little, teeny tiny little ones. I found these ones on ebay:

can someone tell me, if I'd be able to fit some tea in them? I just can't imagine the size of the bag, even though it says it.. lol

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=1290

watcha think? do you think they'd fit here?

thanks

oh, and funny about asking a drug dealer LOL

I know the drug dealer comment was a joke, but they do sell them at head shops. Or, your local Philatelic Society will have stamp-bags. Sometimes they have philatelic supplies at post offices.

Well, the smallest ones are about an inch smaller and the middle size are about an inch bigger. The biggest size are quite a bit bigger.

Now see, I thought you meant snack sized bags. I bet the bead sized would be good for a one cup serving of tea. Pretty cool.
