I stopped wearing deodorant about three months ago because of an underarm rash that just would not go away. The rash is gone, but I don't think I'll ever go back to wearing deodorant. (And I always used natural stuff before, too.) And amazingly enough, I don't think I smell bad at all. Neither does DH, or anyone else I've asked. (Yes, I asked. )

So, do you wear deodorant? Did you stop wearing deodorant, or did you just never wear it to begin with? Do you think you reek? Does anyone even notice?

Hardley ever, maybe for an important event, and then only if I remember.
As long as I shower regularly no one has ever complained.

I used to use Liquid Rock from Kiss My Face, when I was still using deodorant -- it's like the crystal, but in roll-on form. I converted DH to the crystal, too. He loves it!

Yes, but I don't wear white antipersperant because I can't stand the smell. I either use a crystal deodorant rock, a liquid spray version of the same thing, or nature's gate organics tea tree and blue cypress.

No, but I use baking soda!
I went thru some hormonal changes (I guess) in the past year, and began to be smelly even with deodorant. So I tried baking soda--my personal cure-all . And it works great! Much better than deodorant (although I was never using antiperspirant, so couldn't compare to that).

Anyway, a word to the wise--the trick is to wash the pits with the bs, and then rinse completely. Any baking soda left on the skin will burn. Unfortunately, I found that out the hard way

Same here.

I tried using the crystal thing but it didn't make much of a difference. If I don't use an antiperspirant, I reek. I notice, and my dh notices too!

Nope not me.
I do have a crystal.. but do not use it buy maybe 2-3 times a month (if that )

I do not care if I smell like a man that did not use deodorant and worked all day in 100 degree weather!
Im a woman who works all day in the hot weather. I work on a construction crew with 12 other people ( there is one other woman, and she does wear deod, but HOLY HELL, you would NEVER KNOW!)
I must keep up with my competition

This week I have been sick with a mad cold, all in my chest... anyway, been taking Fenugreek... so now I do not smell stinky at all.. just smell like yummy breakfast.
Nothing like raising your hand to grab something and smelling maple syrup.

I stopped wearing antiperspirant but I still wear deodorant. The only thing I have found that works is to spray my pits with the liquid crystal stuff right when I get out of the shower. Then after I get dressed I apply the Tom's of Maine. I have to re-apply later in the day too.

I never have (maybe the European in me?) I don't have (offensive) body odor for whatever reason. My dh has to wear deoderant every day. I'm lucky I guess. MY mother never has worn any either.

I forget a lot and if I do remeber I always seem to be out the door and I end up leaving it in the car The only time I really remeber is when I work but I've been sah for almost a year. This summer we didn't have ac so I didn't bother putting any on becuase I knew I was going to get sweaty anyway. My poor dh he was always offering to take dd so I could take a shower
You know I think I actually smell less now that I've almost completly stopped using it and yeah I've asked people too

I wear the crystal. It is the ONLY thing that does not leave me stinking when I sweat. And I have overactive sweat glands Very much so, and I hate smelling like coriander or anise or lavender...I like being odorless I can go incognito....

Due with number 5 in August. We do all that crunchy stuff.

I voted no, but I use bs with a little scented oil most of the time.

I tried the crystal a couple of times, but mine always got stinky, and then I was rubbing stink onto myself. Not clear how that happened.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I'd say I use deoderant about 75% of the time. When I don't, I have a smell, but it's a real sexy, sweet smell that isn't too strong at all. Sometimes I don't use deoderant because I want to smell my sexy stink.

I'm not the only one who appreciates my smell, btw. People have actually put their noses right in my pit to take a whiff. I don't shave my pits, either.

I do wear deodorant most of the time. There were a few months, however, when I went on a dinosaur dig. I worked with a bunch of men and none of us used deodorant. We got very stinky (we did shower every night though), but the stink was something you got used to and it didn't bother you anymore. And, this is weird, but I had some of the most amazing sex dreams while I was there. I think it had something to do with the odor and maybe pheromones.

Always. And the nasty chemical kind, too. : I've tried four or five different kinds/brands of natural deodorant, and nothing works for me.

Yes, especially in summer. It gets hot here and it's not pretty in the summer.
