I seem to go through phases of craving certain foods. I think I ate toasted tomato sandwiches pretty much every day for a lunch for a year Currently I'm stuck on roasted chestnuts!! Anyone else get obsessed and crave certain foods for periods of time?

I do that an awful lot! I ate Ramen noodles, voluntarily, 5 out of 7 nights for dinner for about 4 years while in my twenties. I did peas and rice for a few months. Now, well I have a lot of that now, but that's the baby, right?

Spinach with onions sauteed in butter and a little flour. Just like Grandma used to make. At least once a week I make this for myself.

Right now I have been craving ( and loving) the salad bar at my local grocery.

Another thing I have been craving is Italian bread dipped in olive oil.

I always crave chocolate.

Sauteed bok choy and rice - can't stop eating this.

And ever since visiting friends in France if I'm up at midnight I NEED baguette and Nutella. The craving is that strong. During the day, nope.

There's this amazing place here and once a week I try to get the best dish ever: sag aloo bhaji. It's a potato and spinach dry curry. So so so good!

Yep, could eat alfredo and angel hair any night of the week for the first 3 years DH and I were married...and now I can't even think about the stuff the same. Also went on a stint where I had to have a bowl of ramen noodles every night to warm me up so that I was comfortable in the house.

Now though I've been craving a bean burrito without onions and a double decker from Taco Bell for some reason...and they're usually one of those foods I can only eat on a rare occasion. Thankfully I can't eat Wendy's or McDonalds anymore or even Hardee's since I had my gallbladder taken out, they are just really gross for some reason.

My obsession is drinking Chai. I drink probably 4 cups a day. Mostly decaf!

No real obsessions as far as food goes right now, exept for chocolate but that's always!
