Can anyone give me some ideas for birthday presents for my, ahem, 'friend'. : We have known each other for awhile but we started seeing each other a few months ago and I'm kind of clueless as to what would make a nice present.
Some info about him, he's in his 30's, has custody of his two children, hobbies are his motorcycle and drag racing his mustang, he listens to all kinds of music. Ah, there's more but I'm not sure what would help. Oh, he LOVES candles, anything that smells pretty! I was thinking of getting him some kind of candle holder but that might be cheesy. I'm overthinking this!

How about some cologne? Kinda basic but I love my guy to smell good!

What about a homemade candle/candle holder and/or a home-burned CD.

I was going to say a candle and a CD too! If you want to do more maybe you can make him dinner too.

Your "friend" sounds alot like my dp.. they like all the same stuff.

How bout tickets for the 2 of you for a drag race of a concert he would like. DP always wants me to partake in "his" things. Go to a drag race and let him talk your ear off about horsepower, engine types, body style.. etc... He'll be in heaven.

Tickets for the two of you to an event, concert, play, what not. :

Cologne is nice, as long as he doesn't think you are hinting at something
(Basically when he opens the cologne, don't say how nice it smells and then immediatly start putting some on him)

Frame a picture of the two of you, or him with his kids, or all of you all togther.

Gift Certificate to someplace he likes.

Maybe cook him and his kids dinner.

You guys are full of great ideas! I'm off to school now but I'll come back and let you know what I decided to do. I wish I knew how to make candles CookieMonsterMommy, that would be awesome...I just made him birthday brownies. I have to give him his present tonight because his birthday is saturday and his kids and him are leaving to go camping tomorrow. I totally waited till the last minute!
