I've been going to answers.yahoo.com for a few months now and I am absolutely appalled at the information that people pass off as advice. I try to give resources and whatnot and it's not exactly hard to compete for 'best answer' when the other answers are so obviously pulled out of someone's hiney... I was just wondering if anyone else goes there. Might be great to get an influx of MDC mamas answering parenting questions!!

I do. Haven't lately though cause it's just soooo annoying to see the stupid answers and I'd rather save my time for people I love--like you guys!:

I did turn at least one person onto ECing though and I've spread the kellymom.com love around.

Ew, I just found my first horrible advice, about scaring a kid out of wetting his pants by threatening to lock him outside.

Keep in mind that people often post answers intended to make other users angry rather than making an attempt to actually answer the question. There are also plenty of questions intended to provoke.
