Mods, I have no idea where to put this, be it I'm Pregnant, Gifted Child or Special Needs Child. Please move it as you see fit...

Hey mamas (and dads!)...I need some insight, please.

I have recently been given a reading which saw our unborn son as being a Crystal Child.

What do I need to know about raising a Crystal Child? The most detailed information I could find said one of the most important things to do is to make sure that I don't allow him to be mis-diagnosed as autistic due to the common language delays in these children.

I want to make sure that DH and I are as prepared as possible so that we can spend a lot of time nurturing his abilities and little time fumbling around trying to figure out how to most effectively raise him to allow him to explore his full abilities and not stifle him at all. We want to be the best parents possible for our special little man!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My simplest advice is to listen to him, encourage him, and love him. Everything else will find it's place in his/your world.

My son (9) is an empath and doesn't like alot of things (loud noises, crowded places, arguing, impatient about places he doesn't like to be, etc.). I homeschool him and try to go with the flow of his needs. I've learned what works and what doesn't....
