i saw this posted on a local mothering site i go to, and i thought i would share here, as the boy may like some cards from overseas to.


"i dont know if any of you has heard about this. we received an email at work today about a little boy in ontario who is ill with cancer. his only wish is to get in the guiness book of world records. he wants to receive the most birthday cards in the world. so i was hoping that we could all make this little boys wish come true. his address is"

My daughter Loves to write cards and letters and mail them, I know she woudl love to do this!

Any idea how many stamps one would need to mail from CA? Also, can we put it in the mailbox or do we need to take it to the post office?

Yup. Being from the area, I can tell you it is 100% true. He is suffering from Leukemia. Though I didn't know he was terminal.

i dont know for sure hes terminal, im was just quoting what another poster had on the other site. maybe i will edit the terminal part esp if not verified

Postage should be 63 cents if it is under an ounce according to this chart on the usps website( http://pe.usps.gov/text/pub51/51tblb...tml#vnameref_1 ). I've sent tons of letters and cards to Africa and I always just put it in the mailbox. I think that they only worry about packages.

I hope he makes into the Guinness Book!
