My daughter Loves to write cards and letters and mail them, I know she woudl love to do this!

Any idea how many stamps one would need to mail from CA? Also, can we put it in the mailbox or do we need to take it to the post office?

For the sceptics out there (myself included ), I checked out the story at snopes and it's true. http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/medical/bernier.asp

I´ll send him a card, OP.

Yup. Being from the area, I can tell you it is 100% true. He is suffering from Leukemia. Though I didn't know he was terminal.

Postage should be 63 cents if it is under an ounce according to this chart on the usps website( http://pe.usps.gov/text/pub51/51tblb...tml#vnameref_1 ). I've sent tons of letters and cards to Africa and I always just put it in the mailbox. I think that they only worry about packages.

I hope he makes into the Guinness Book!
