Remember Dear Abby?

Well, here is Dear LJ!

LJ is my 10 month DS and he is really good with giving advice from his perspective... so we are posting the opportunity for others to get advice, get questions answered, and just talk amongst ourselves from a 10-month old's perspective. Oh, and his momma has agreed to assist him... but don't get me wrong... he thinks that he can type too.

Try him... see what ya get

-His Momma

Ok, I'll bite

Dear LJ,

Can you please tell me why my dh feels compelled to call me with is cell phone while driving on roads that have turned into ice? I am honored to be so love but come on, hang up and drive!

Dear LJ,
There is a mountain in my home, one made of laundry. Lots and lots of clothes piled up that I really have no interest in washing, other than the fact they might march themselves down the stairs if I don't do it. Would it be a better idea to dribble soap in them and lay them out in the yard on a rainy day? Thank you.
Sincerely,
Miss My clothes smell like rotton armpits.

Dear LJ,

We are having issues with an attorney who sent out a letter requesting a certain amount of money from the defendant we are suing, without our permission and without even discussing the amount with us.

What should we do?

Thank you in advance, LJ.

Well... LJ asked me to type this one for him: he hugged my leg and I think he meant it for you... but I think that he thinks of you when he is in dangerous situations, and wants to have you for company... Remind him that you want him for company after the ride on the ice, so you need to think of you and pay attention to the roads... blow him a kiss and hang up (lovingly)

LJ says: yes... put them on the lawn with the soap, and he will roll in them before bath time ...

Well LJ has an aunt who fired an attorney for something like that, but got another attorney before the firing... Her new attorney worked on going after the old attorney for misrepresentation... but he doesnt know what happened, bc he is 10 months old... and he believed that hugs would solve it all... LJ blew you a kiss...

... I, LJ's Mom, really hopes that this is resolvable, and we both wish you good luck...

Dear LJ,

It's hot in my house, the thermostat says 80 degrees and it's so stuffy. I don't want to turn the air on because tomorrow the high is only 62 degrees and the temp is just going to go down from there. Any ideas on how to cool myself off? I feel like I'm in the tropics!

Dear LJ,

My cousin and I get along pretty well, but there's something I don't understand about her. She wants to hold *all* the toys in her line of sight and gets really mad if anyone even suggests taking them away. What's up with that?

Oh yeah, she's 23 months old.

Well... LJ thinks that your ds is seeking a reason to allow the dog to use kleenex to get the object out ... but his momma says its because he is trying to entertain you, because secretly, you think that it is funny too...

LJ,

Why do my kiddies fight all the freaking time? Can't they just get along? Would it really be that hard for them to make it through one day without a fight?

LJ says: Maybe they find each other cooler than you think... His momma suggests some happy activities, a walk tomorrow... some team building games, such as dance as long as you can games (and Nikel, you have to dance too)...

nope... he was laughing at his mom, who against her better judgement is hanging out on MDC with LJ after midnight , instead of soothing him and lying down with him... we are just having so much fun...

Dear LJ,

It is that time of year again when ants think they can march right up into my home.
My little boy who is not 14months old things that throwing his food in the floor when done is a great game. We have carpet in the dinning room so it makes getting the food up that much harder.
The ants are loving Day's left overs that I don't find. How do I keep him from trowing food on the floor just short of not feeding him.

Thanks,
Invaded by ants.

Dear LJ,

Why don't my kids eat their dinners? I swear they would like it if they ever gave it a shot, but they take one look and won't eat it. Also, they sometimes decide not to eat things that they liked and ate just days ago, like spaghetti with tomato sauce. They used to love that and now they'll only eat it without sauce. I don't cook weird adult food, and I'm a good cook (at least everyone I've ever cooked for thinks so). What's the deal??

Thanks LJ,
Serendipity, the frustrated family cook
