Hi Sunflowers,

I will soon be a first time grandmama! My DD(the birthday girl) and her husband(who also is celebrating his 28th birthday on the same day as my DD!)is expecting a boy in the next few weeks and I am so excited! I can hardly wait to meet him!

Two years and some months! It ages a woman, I swear.

But I'd do it all again. And I would hire a babysitter more often!

I second all of that. I was lucky to have trusted friends and my mom (in a slightly limited capacity, but still..) to care for my kids sometimes, and I think if I were doing it over I wouldn't feel as badly about going out for an hour here and there without my baby.

8 years this June!

Feels like it's been way more than less of a decade though Paradoxically the time has just flown.

I have 2, a 5 year old girl (my dd's) and a one year old boy (my ds's). My ds's girlfriend is pregnant again and expecting in September, so I'll have three!

With seven of my own, I expect I'll have quite a few grandkids.

I started acting like a mommy to my dsd when she was 8 months old and I was living with my then-soon-to-be husband. That was a little over 8 years ago. Biologically, Ive been a mother for 3yrs, 2mo, 2wk and 4 days...almost to the hour. Yes, I actually looked at the calendar to figure out down to the day.
