Do you sing? Do you sing well? Do you sing in front of others? Are you a famous musician? Do you read music? Can you harmonize? What instruments do you play? Are there any other questions about music ability that I may have forgotten?

I'm bored.

I have a decent singing voice, but I don't sing in front of anyone. Well, other than my kids and my DP.

I also play the piano badly. I took lessons for years but hated it, so I didn't "apply myself."

I'm bored, too.

Do you sing? Yes
Do you sing well? Yes. I won a vocal scholarship back in the day to a major state university. (not a prestigious one or anything, but a top 100 school)
Do you sing in front of others? On occasion
Are you a famous musician? No
Do you read music? Yes
Can you harmonize? Yes. It is one of my favorite things, and why I usually sing alto when the choir director wants me to sing soprano.
What instruments do you play? Piano, guitar, banjo, drums - some well, others not so much!
Are there any other questions about music ability that I may have forgotten? Depends on what you want to know I suppose!

Yes, I sing. I think I sing well, but I don't really like to sing in front of other ppl other than my DH and kids, unless I'm singing with ppl in a big group. I read music, I also play the violin and piano. I would love to learn how to play the cello some day, I often wish I would have chosen the cello over the violin, but I was only a kid and didn't know any better.

I can't sing well, even though I sing to my boys all the time. I swear since we started Music Together class I am much better at singing on key!!

I read music and played trumpet for 9 years but I haven't tried to play in almost 10. I bought a piano last Nov and have been teaching myself how to play. Considering I have only been playing for 7 months I think I am doing pretty well!! :

Bored here too but it's almost bedtime for me...

I rock.

I have a pretty voice and can carry a tune just fine, but I mostly just sing to my dd. I'm not famous. I don't read music well, I can harmonize easily, and I play the piano (mostly by ear).

Happily parenting our snuggly wild child since 2007 and her little brother since 2011!

I think I sing very well, but people who have heard me say I'm wrong.

However, both of my children are very musical, which just baffles my mind.

DD: I'm bored and want to play Me: What about me? I can play. DD: No thanks, I mean a real person.

I sing relatively well. I used to sing in front of people.

I can't really play an instrument. I used to dabble with the piano and guitar but have pretty much forgotten the few things that I have learned.

My little one is very much into music and instruments.

Oh, and no, I can't read music. Not really. But if I am given the first note while looking at sheet music, I can fudge my way through somehow.

I sing pretty well - was part of a touring group for awhile. I've also been playing classical piano almost my entire life and was a piano performance major in college for the first two years (then decided I wasn't committed enough). I sight-read well and play by ear fairly decently.

I don't have a piano right now and don't have any singing outlet except with ds in the car (which is fun, but doesn't always do the trick ) and it's very difficult. Have to fix that soon. I also really want to learn the accordion.

Ds is amazingly rhythmic and sounds great when he pokes around on the piano. I can't wait to see where he takes it.

Do you sing? Yes

Do you sing well? Depends on who is listening... I was chosen in HS to be in the Honors level chorus and for several musicals. I was given a scholarship for Musical Theatre based on singing/dancing/acting. When I performed at the end of my first year I was told that I shouldn't be allowed to sing in public, and they were taking away my scholarship. I transferred colleges and immediately was cast in School House Rock Live with several solos, continued voice lessons, and had rave reviews at my end of year performances. (I didn't audition for any other musicals b/c I was too busy).

Do you sing in front of others? Sometimes.

Are you a famous musician? No.

Do you read music? Yes

Can you harmonize? Yes

What instruments do you play? Dabbled in piano and violin.

I sang when I was little in church choirs, even had solos, but there was a huge gap between then and HS. My often joked "What did you do with the money I gave you for singing lessons." Whenever I sang out loud on car trips, so I believed I couldn't sing. So I was surprised in HS when I was told I was good

I have no musical abilities whatsoever. I went to a horrible catholic school, where the evil nun music teacher separated the class into "singers" and "listeners." I was a listener, and we basically were ignored completely, while the singers got music lessons and vocal practice. It put me off ever learning anything about music.

Do you read music? Yes.

What instruments do you play? Violin.

Yes, I'm musical.

Yes, I can sing, but I don't like my voice.

I have more of a choir voice.

I can harmonize.

I taught myself to read notes, but I'm out of practice. So my answer would be sorta. I play by ear really well, though.

As far as in front of people go: I sang in our church choir and my family had a band and we toured around performing. My mom made me sing, but I really don't like the way I sound, so it was torture! I sing to my kids all the time, make up silly songs. I even got my dh doing it!

I play the fiddle, back up guitar (but not very well) dabble in the mandolin, and really want to play the bass. Would love to play the sax but my asthma would get in the way I think!

Am I famous? Well, depends on how you look at it. No not really. People loved our family band, but that was a long time ago. Used to be pretty good in the contest circuit too.

My brother is AWESOME on the guitar and mandolin and we've got a little group and we really have the potential to go somewhere. I'll let you all know when I'm a famous recording artist!

I love, love, love music! My brother and I communicate in musical riffs. Weird I know!

These days I classify myself as sort of musical. I am a decent singer and used to actually make money (although not much ). I spent years with a touring company. The fact is, my voice is fine, but there is not a lot of call for female voices so low in the alto range that they're really tenors. I can sing a mean harmony, though.

I also spent 13 years studying classical piano and was once pretty good. Thanfully, I realized that I was somewhat lacking in the real spark of musical gift before I went to college and studied other things. I also play the flute.

Today, I play rather sloppily for my kids.
