: please mods don't kick me out of TAO for this - I looked but couldn't figure out where this goes... if this thread is in the wrong spot I humbly repent and promise I'll start a new one there. :

Is there an ongoing/cumulative list of things needed by mamas/families in need? I know we do Holiday Helpers around the holidays, but I was thinking more an ongoing thing. Dh and I do a lot of decluttering and the kids grow out of stuff like crazy, and I thought maybe before making another trip to Goodwill, wouldn't it be great to go to some central location to scan a few threads to see if anyone here needs it.

(I know there's the Trading Post, but for a couple of reasons, it would be a lot easier to just find a couple of mamas needing 2T clothes or whatever and PM them and take care of it right then and there. Likewise, I might see someone needing something and realize I could do without it, but wouldn't have thought per se about donating it yet.)

Are you talking about something like the MDC Fairy? Or is it something else you're thinking of?
