We take down our Atheist Eyesore a couple days after christmas. And put it up a few days before Yeah, I'm not too keen on having that big thing in our livingroom.

Mine goes up the first weekend in December and I'm itching to take it down Christmas day but usually wait until the day after for the kids.

ds's birthday is on January 3, so that motivates me to get it down before I go to bed on the 2nd.

The year before he was born, I think we took it down sometime in April.

Yes. With any luck, before Mardi Gras.

Our tree always leaves the day after X-mas. When it's done...I'm done.

In love with Dh since 1998. We created Ds (7.1.03), Dd (10.16.06) and Dd (3.16.09).

Ditto! I'm usually so happy it's over. Boxing Day is very special in our house.

I vaccinate my kids for their benefit AND the greater good!

Usually Jan 6.

Once we went to visit friends who live in an anonymous suburb the day after Christmas. All the cul-de-sacs looked the same, and all the houses had great big honking garages and no sign of life. Her next door neighbor's tree was already kicked to the curb, and it just looked so sad....I could never ditch the tree the day after Christmas!

We take ours down about two weeks to a month after Christmas. Yeah, I know, that's bad. My Mom kept hers up 'itl the end of April one year. :

I pray for the day Family Court recognizes that CHILDREN have rights, parents only have PRIVILEGES.  Only then, will I know my child is safe.
