I donated 13 precious inches of my hair to locks of love. I don't regret it one bit.

I have gotten mixed reactions from people about my new look. I have heard my face looks fuller (aka fatter -- I'm a large girl in the first place) to I look older (which sucks cause I'm 37 not 15) and someone else tried to be kind and say that they prefer long hair over shorter hair. Others have said they like the look and that I should keep it shorter.

I did a good thing that didn't cost me a dime and it will always grow. In the mean time, I guess I can wear a hat if it bugs me that much. I will say that showering takes much less time now!

Do YOU like it short? 'Cause that's all that really matters.

That is so wonderful
I wish it was something I could do, my hair absolutely won't grow past just touching my shoulders, I've tried a lot to get it to grow, its just not happening.
Someone will be so grateful because of your donation.

People always act a little weird when you dramatically change your look. It's hard, I know, but try not to take it too personally. And for every fool who says "I liked it better the other way" you can respond with "Good thing it's not your head" or something similar. It's a beautiful thing that you've done!
