I can't quite figure out what's wrong with this picture...

Giada

Its the arms, they look so weird!

Mom of a 7 yr old, 4 yr old, and 1 yr old. Wow. How did that happen?

I think it's just the weird pose she's trying to do to show off the belly.

She's so cute.

My mom has super short arms like that.

I think she's beautiful. I love Giada. I think she seems like such a fun, friendly person.

Her hands and fingers look swollen. But the arms don't look wierd, to me, it's just that you can barely see them because of the black sleeves and black outfit.

It's a very unflattering dress for her body. I think that's the problem.

Strange angle and positioning of her arms combined with black on black does give it that hobbit look a little.

her arms are bent and she's wearing all black so it's hard to see her position.
plus, the photo does a weird forshortening thing to her body that makes her look shorter.
her toes don't look hairy, though.

Yes, I don't think her arms are as short as they appear there. She's just trying to accentuate the little baby bump.

I think it is just a weird positioning/angle combined with the black.

It's just the angle in the pic - her fingers look super chubby too.

But that 2nd pic is HOT! And makes me miss my preggy boobs!

Even when sister is covered from head to toe she still manages to show off her cleave. That's a feat (so to speak).

Yes, this.

I agree that her hands/fingers look swollen--does it make me a bad person to be a teeny bit glad that celebs can get bloated and swollen too?!

I'm due a week before her, am small for 7 months pregnant, and am probably about 3 times as big as she is.

Ain't it funny how differently different women carry their pregnancies?

It is not just the picture. I've watched her show, just trying to figure it out. Her arms are short.

Her belly? Mine's bigger than that right now (due in mid-April). With dd, when we brought her home, our neighbor's inquired because they hadn't even realized I was pregnant... Each one is different and this is her first.

I don't know who she is. But I think she's pretty, and I like her outfit a lot (looks like me, circa 1991, minus the baby belly).

I hope she didn't come here looking for baby advice and see this thread making fun of her looks.

She does have an abnormally large head.

Her elbows look like they're straight out to the sides, but are really pulled back. That makes her wrists seem like they're twisted around unnaturally.

Then she's at a 3/4 angle and not full profile so her head seems more twisted around than it is.

If she was wearing another color a few places, the optical illusion stuff wouldn't be as bad. I did have to squint at individual bits for awhile to get why she looked "off".
