That sounds really terrifying, Mama. Hope they find out what happened soon and that it isn't too serious.

That must have been extremely terrifying for you!!! If you can take any solace, take solace in the fact that your little one doesn't remember any of it. We have a great epilepsy thread in the special needs forum. If you need any help, come on over.

Again, sending you huge hugs. Watching someone have a seizure is not for the faint of heart.

My son has them. The first was an hour after vaxes. The only diognoses we've been given is atypical seizure disorder. He's not on any meds as they are infrequent. There is a rectal valium you can get and keep on hand that will stop long (as in longer than 5 min) ones. The biggest danger is falling,it can cause more problems than the actual seizure. We've spent more time in er's getting cat scans than we ever did at the neurologist.

Hugs mamma, it is scary.I pray you find out soon whats going on.

Goodness, I'm glad everything seems to be OK. Mr. Laurel has sleep seizures periodically (every few years), and the first one scared me half to death. I couldn't imagine watching your child go through a seizure.

Yes, please keep us updated! A neurologist will review the eeg and should send a report in to your doctor. If anything is off they'll get you in quickly, usually or have your ped coordinate treatment. Hopefully you can get in soon though! Keeping you guys in my thoughts.

to you and your little boy. I hope everything turns out okay. I would say "Don't worry!" but I know that is pretty much impossible when it comes to our bebes. :

ds had his EEG today... preliminary diagnosis says hes fine and may have benign rolandic epilepsy... nothing too big.. and the seizures dont cause damage... but still kinda scary... Monday we'll hear the full diagnosis after the EEG results come back to the Pediatric Neurologist...

thanks for the support!!!

I'm so tired... ugh... sleeeeeep
