I'm going to treat myself to a 'real' haircut in the coming month and I'm thinking about going short. I had it relatively short four years ago. Here are some pics of me with long and short.

If I stay long, I could get nice layers and do some streaks of bold colour (I could also do this if I go short).

They're not the best shots to tell what my hair looks like, but they're all I've got because I'm usually the one taking all the photos

Short:

Long:

Thanks!!!!

You're beautiful and really long or short fits you. So I can't pick.

Wow, you really are beautiful.

You could sport both the short or long look, but if you are treating yourself to a 'real' haircut, you may not want to go short. Short cuts will require more frequent haircuts.

Short.

Looks great both ways but in all the short v long posts I've been seeing lately, I've noticed that almost everyone looks better with short hair. Everyone seems to look so much more current and pulled-together with short hair.

Thanks, guys. I'm leaning toward cutting it short. I may have been leaning that way before posting this but I was not really aware of it. So, thanks for helping me see that!

Thanks again! I'm pretty set on going short again - thank you all so much!

Now, one more question. How short? Here are some examples:

I like # 1 !

...but I would have it a bit shorter in the back on number one, and bangs a bit longer and swept to the side...

Definitely short - 1 and 2 are both good. I lean toward 1 a bit; that is really cute!

I think #1 to start and if you feel comfortable I'd go shorter next time with #3. You have a beautiful smile and short hair will really focus the attention on your features.
