If you wait a bit, those sandals should be going on clearance soon. Last year I saw a similar pair marked down to $90 and would have bought them but they didn't have my size.

The problem with buying on clearance, they never have my size (I'm a solid 10)

I think for me, shoes can change the tone of an outfit. I dont have a lot of clothes because I'm so picky, don't like buying cheaply made items and had to give away or sell a lot over the past few years due to weight loss so my is more "French" = a few high quality pieces that can be mixed and matched rather than "American" = a large closet full of clothes. I can wear a pair of pants twice a week but will look totally different each time depending on the shoes, scarves, etc I wear with it. Shoes for me last longer than clothes. Unless my shoe size change, the shoes are a better investment.

ah yeah.. I hate that problem. I wear a 5.5 and it seems like stores only order two pair or something in that size since it isn't very common.

Ah...remember the days when 5.5 and 6 were the sample size and we used to get great bargains at the sample sale every season...those were the days!

I have no idea where I would wear any of these or how I would afford them, but I've decided I need them all.

Even though 10 is VERY common, some stores (mostly boutiques) only order 2-3. I'm lucky if I can find what I want at the REGULAR price. I lucked out when I was in Portland this past week. San Francisco, forget about it.

Oh, I LOVE shoes too!!! What a fun-fluffy thread!

I am vegan in just about everything, but my major downfall are shoes... : I somehow always justify buying non-vegan shoes in my totally irrational mind....by saying to myself...
I can never find shoes that I like that are vegan....except my Vans and Havaianas. :

Earlier this year I splurged on a silver variety of these:

I have tons of shoes...and always want more... :
And I love Prada!!!
Nevertheless, I end up wearing flip flops, the above silver shoes or some Gucci clogs from last year -- or checkered Vans.
Sometimes shiny red platforms from Sergio Rossi.
--similar to these, but from last year:

For fall I am kind of drooling over something like these:

...these:

...or these:

All cool with a staple pair of jeans!

Realistically though, I will have to use what I already have...

I just remembered - my husband bought me a pair of Manolo Blahnik mules in green 2 years ago and I have hardly ever worn them. It really is too bad. He wanted me to have my first pair of Blahniks... I mean, when should I wear them -- in bed??? Still co-sleeping, ds would be in hysterics!!! They have 3" stiletto heels and also ds and I do a lot of walking!
