I'm sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere . . . I didn't see anything!

I've never used essential oils, but have had an excruciating headache the past two days that has to go! Non pregnant people are recommending this, but I'm not sure if it's safe.

Have you used it during pregnancy? What do you know about using it during pregnancy?

This is what Dr. Weil has to say about it, although it doesn't mention EOs: http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/QAA366713/Is-Peppermint-Safe-During-Pregnancy.html

I've been hitting the peppermint tea, natural peppermints, and using the heck out of my peppermint chapstick this pregnancy, and so far so good...

My MW says peppermint & spearmint are fine, but no wintergreen.

This is what I've heard as well. And just remember to use a TINY drop at first - essential oils are so concentrated that very very little is needed. Sniffing peppermint oil and absolutely helped me when I felt nauseous!

Thanks, ladies! I just sniffed a tiny amount, and not sure if it helped or not, but the headache is gone today!
