Thanks everyone for the support! I really need that right now.  I've had more spotting this morning pretty much every time I go to the bathroom but it's very little (just when I wipe) and always brown.

I really wondering if I don't have an irritable cervix since i spotted often with DD too.  Also, I swear I've been feeling movement after eat fruit or drinking juice.  Maybe I'm crazy because I have been having so many digestive issues but it's always after fruit.  I also have been having this weird numbness.  My middle finger has been numb since yesterday during the night and my foot has been doing the same but just off on on?  My stepmom joked that my body is falling apart (I didn't mention the spotting because I didn't want them to worry).  I'll keep you guys updated.

so the bleeding continued overnight, though it has slowed down.  still no cramping, and no tissue or clots that i can see.  i'm still so worried.  waiting on the phone call about a follow-up ultrasound (wishing i could just be hooked up to one for the duration of this pregnancy.)  i've lost a lot of blood, i'm so lightheaded and weak, but if the bleeding continues to lighten the way it has, i'm hoping that all is well.  maybe a twin or something?  placenta previa?  or my cervix getting irritated by sex, in combination with blood thinners?  it's hard to be positive when i've bled soooo much, but as long as i'm not having pain or passing anything other than blood, and if the bleeding doesn't get heavy again, i'm going to try to remain as positive as i can.  i hope the rest of you are hanging in there.  this is hard.

I'm so sorry to hear that... it's so nerve-wracking isn't it? I had a bleeding scare that turned out okay, I hope yours does too.  Glad to hear there is no cramping, though! stay positive :)

my doctor squeezed me in at the end of the day, and there is still a strong little heartbeat <3 still not sure what's happening. my last tests showed i had bacterial vaginosis, and she said it is possible that could cause it? i've never heard of that, but i'm on antibiotics now.  i go back on wednesday to check for the heart again.  it was reassuring to hear, but still so worried that i don't know what is happening.  the bleeding had actually stopped for a little bit, but now it has started again.  :(

So on Sunday the bleeding pick up to heavy red bleeding so my parents took me to the emergency room. It turns out the baby stopped growing at 10 weeks and there was no heartbeat. I had a D&C and am now recovering for a few days with my parents until I fly back to Brazil.

Physically I'm pretty much back to normal but I think it's going be awhile before we feel like trying again.

i have an ultrasound in an hour, hoping babe is still doing well, and hopefully they can come up with some sort of explanation for all of the bleeding (which STILL hasn't stopped completely.)  my nerves are shot.

ultrasound went well!  i find it so hard to believe everything could possibly be okay when there's been that much bleeding for that long, but sure enough baby's heart was going strong, he/she was active and moving, and growing exactly on "schedule".  so good news--so far baby is great!  bad news--they still have no clue what is going on with me.  for now i'm just going to concentrate on the good news.  i know something could still happen, but so far i've been bleeding for 48 hours and baby is still doing fantastic, so chances are it's not miscarriage related.  i just wish it would stop!

heard baby's heart beating again today, and could hear him/her moving around with the doppler :)  the bleeding has mostly stopped--if i'm on my feet, it will come back a little bit, but i think it's probably old blood.  definitely better than it was.  my doctor thinks it was probably a subchorionic hemorrhage, so for now i'm taking the rest of the week off work, and when i go back i'll ask for less physically demanding assignments (i'm a teaching assistant, so when i'm with the littler kids it can get pretty physical!)  i go back next week for my regular prenatal appointment, hopefully by then they'll have the results of the ultrasound and maybe we can clearly see what the problem is?  anyways, i'm doing much better, baby is hanging in there with a 160 bpm heartrate and i'm finally starting to relax a bit.  hope everyone else is doing well too, and will be happy when this thread can get lost somewhere near the bottom ;)

brown when I wiped.  At least it's not red.  I don't know why it's like this, I've been taking it easy since hubby has been away.  I'll call the midwife tomorrow and see if I can come in to hear a heartbeat really quick.  It's funny, since this pregnancy I would have liked to be a bit more hands off than it has been.

ugh, I had brown spotting (again) this weekend, and now I am being a stressed out night-owl because I had pink spotting tonight when I went to pee. Fearing the worst and having a hard time relaxing.

I hope everyone else is doing okay and that their darn spotting will chill out too!

i've had quite a bit more brown than normal too, the past couple of days, but i'm attributing that to being back at work.  when i was on bedrest, i was lying down most of the time, when i'm at work i'm standing up or sitting all day.  so hopefully that too will be gone soon.  i heard babe's heartbeat again today (for only a few seconds, before s/he moved--this baby is a wiggler!)  BF is making me nervous, saying that if this baby is anything like he was, it will never cooperate, and will always be active and making me worry.  It looks like he might be right, lol.

so looks like all is still well.  but when i am home, i get my feet up and keep em there as much as possible.  it makes me feel lazy, but at the same time, i'm looking at the spotting as a hint that i need to rest.

i hate to be the one to keep this thread alive, but i started bleeding again tonight.  i've had brown spotting ever since the last bleed 3 weeks ago, and was told if it was red again to go in to ER, so i did.  thankfully, everything is okay, and i got to see my little one again, moving around everywhere, heart pumping away.  heartbeat.gif  sooooo relieved...but i am so over this bleeding crap.  ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

this baby is aging me prematurely, i think.  the lab tech who took my blood told me i looked 19.  i thanked her, but said i'll probably look 50 by the time this is all over.  just hoping this babe is less stress-inducing once he or she is born!

well, it SUCKS that you're still bleeding! ugh! I haven't had any spotting for the past week, but wouldn't be surprised if I did again. I've come to think that it's something cervical, a polyp or something like that.  I am so happy for you getting to see the babe in the ultra sound though! glad everything is OK :)
I heard my baby's heartbeat yesterday (14 weeks along) so that was encouraging.

hopefully this is the last of it for you (have heard that one  before!! lol)
