You are all so inspiring! All it takes is a quick look at this thread, and I am back to my knitting. :)

Is there a thread somewhere with instructions as to how to post pics on here? I still can't figure it out.

Just wanted to share what I've been working on - little baby headbands.  I'm having a boy, but a friend wanted them for her little girl, so I thought I'd give it a try.  I never found a pattern I liked, so I kind of made it up.  It's still a work in progress, but this is the best result I've had so far:

Oh, and I used something called Bamboo Ewe, or something, that is made my Red Heart yarn. It's a super soft blend of wool and bamboo. I used the leftovers from the blanket I knit.

Wow, such wonderful crafty things mamas are making.  I made a pumpkin hat while I was at the lake for a week and then started a boobie beanie.  I just need to knit the leaf for the top of the pumpkin hat.

Thanks!!  Well, at least you have 6 or 7 started.  I'm just starting my 3rd one, second pair of shorties. lol.gif  But I'm still new at this, though getting faster.  Hoping baby will let me knit while she bf''s.thumb.gif

Those are so cute! I need to do one more soaker for this baby in a newborn size. Like you, I am hoping to be able to get a little knitting time here and there once baby comes - so I can knit some small soakers!  Also have some felted wool sweaters from the thrift store in the closet so I could whip up some "upcycled" soakers - if my friend could come over and help me with my sewing machine, which despises sewing through wool. :) Anyway, that pumpkin hat is adorable, will be so cute for next month!

Thanks!!  I love halloween and fall, so thought it was perfect and was so happy I came across the pattern.

You guys are so impressive! I've been working on a small quilt for the last five months. And by working on it, I mean I only have a third of the blocks cut. :-) I'm shooting for Christmas now....
