Week 1:

7/31: 3 miles

8/2: 3 miles

8/4: 2.25 miles

Week 2:

8/7: 1.75 miles

8/10: 3 miles

8/11: 2 miles

So I'm not hitting my goal of 3 miles 4x a week, but I'm still pretty happy with what I'm doing. smile.gif

mostly been walking  and yoga once a week.  After sitting in the car for a three hour drive i got motivated to ride my bike two hours- and my legs are dying today.  Time to do walks and yoga and rest up - if i need energy for a 2 day labor again I better conserve some energy :)

I've been walking the dogs every morning except for this am.  Just too much after not enough sleep last night.

Fabulous idea for a thread. I am a habitual runner and have been motivated to keep exercising through most of this pregnancy. I was running (or at least walking/jogging) up until last week, but a couple of days ago I started getting knee pain that won't quit. Walking is difficult, I don't Even want to get down on my hands/knees for yoga stretches, and I imagine swimming/biking would be worse. I cannot imagine having to spend the next 3 weeks+ on my duff on the couch, but this injury isn't going anywhere. What to do?

Hi Amanda! Welcome to Mothering and our DDC! smile.gif

I think swimming might surprise you. The pain in your knee might be mitigated by that fantastic weightless feeling of being in water. I highly recommend it. Plus it's very low-impact for your knee joint -- probably as good as it's going to get.

I cannot imagine running up until 37 weeks. Whoah! winky.gif

I stopped running when the pressure of the baby got to be too much on my pelvis- but am considering trying again to nudge this little guy along!!!

I walked every day except for 2 this week.  I don't go nearly as far as you do Mrs. B Sprout.  I've been walking with MIL around her block with the dogs, which can be pretty exciting when the one dog sees another and has a freak out.  Poor dog was attacked when my dh first got him and now it seems to be getting worse the older he gets.
