I've been nauseated for weeks, but yesterday I vomited for the first time. Once, first thing in the morning and then again when I finally took a shower in the evening. I spent the entire day sleeping, not because I was tired, but because it was the only way I could avoid the constant urge to vomit. Also, nothing sounded palatable. I was able to get soda crackers and water down only with great effort. My temp was a little higher than normal, but never reached 100°F. I'm feeling somewhat better today, but might still vomit before the day is through.

Could this really be just morning sickness or did I pick up some bug? Has anyone else been vomity all day long?

I had a similar experience a few weeks ago. It was a bug that was going around, short lived but really nasty. I vomited twice total and then it was done. The whole thing took about 24 hours to pass. It was hard to distinguish the bug from my regular all-day nausea, but my two kids had it too, so I knew what was up. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks, Iris. I'm thinking this is a bug. I'm going on 48 hours, but still haven't vomited today. Hopefully I'll be better tomorrow. If not, I think I'll call the doc.

Sounds like a good idea, when you're pregnant it's always "better safe than sorry"!  grouphug.gif

Thanks for the support, ladies. smile.gif I'm pretty sure I'm over the bug and back to "normal" nauseated now. That's not exactly 100%, but I'll take it! orngtongue.gif
