DS knows. Yesterday morning he woke up and said, Mommy I think there is a baby in your tummy. When I asked him why he thought that, he told me he dreamed it and he has been wanting a baby brother and sister for a long time. So I confirmed that there was a baby and he was so happy, he had to call his grandparents to tell them (they already knew but he wanted to tell them too).

Unfortunately, he is so excited he can't keep it to himself. We went out to dinner last night with DH's family and I told his aunt. DS overheard and decided everyone needed to know and started telling everyone including some random stranger who was standing by us, There is a baby in my mommy's tummy.

Adorable. We knew that once the kids knew, there was no going back. Last night at a PTO event, I received lots warm wishes without having told anyone myselfblush.gif

Write down how he found out if your keeping a memory box or journal for either child. It will be a precious memory.

That is so sweet!! I just picked up a children's book by Dr. Sears explaining what is going on with the baby in my belly and what my sons can expect when she/he arrives. It has a very AP slant (of course) and even shows a breastfeeding mom, opposed to the many books that show the Dad bottle feeding. DS (4) has been asking a lot of questions and is so excited to be the "first to hug the baby". So looking forward to seeing them interact with the new little one!
