I am due Oct 1 and I have a feeling I'll probably give birth at the end of September... which is scary because September seems so much sooner on the calendar than October! I'm trying to remain zen about the pregnancy but am a very nervous about being able to carry to term, having a safe/healthy labor, etc.. Does anyone else think they might not deliver exactly in Oct?
No idea! I'm interested to see though bc I have 2 EDDs, depending on if you go my LMP or conception. 9/29 and 10/03. I honestly don't care when it's born, but it'll be kind of interesting to see when it's born in comparison to those two dates :) My other kids were born at 40+5 & 40+1 based off of LMP EDD's, so if I *had* to guess I would say I have an Oct baby baking.

Our official DD is October 23rd....my daughter was a solid 2 weeks 'late' so I am *hoping to go early or on our DD....but won't be surprised if I bump into November!
My birthday is Oct.28th and I LOVE Halloween, so I am really excited to see when this baby will arrive!

I think I'll be Oct. 31 or Nov 1. Pascal was born on the due date that I predicted (score!) so I feel confident in my abilities. :) The midwives think Nov. 1.
I strongly suspect I'll give birth in September. No guarantees. I could get lucky. But I'm due Oct. 3rd and I have high blood pressure. I would be surprised if I made it to 40 weeks. I don't think my BP is going to hold. It's already edging up at 19 weeks.

Original EDD is Oct 1 here (based on LMP.) Early u/s suggested earlier, so September is possible here. I am with you -- it's soon!
I only joined one DDC, though. Too much work to keep up with two.

Well, my due date was changed from Oct 2nd to Sept 23rd so I am guessing I will definatly deliver in Sept. I really thought she was just measuring large in the begining but she is still measuring the same so my date is definatly Sept 23rd. I am not comfortable with going more than a few days overdue

I'm leaning heavily towards September, even though I'm not due until Oct 10-17 (I've been given THREE EDD in that range). Just what my gut is saying, really. We'll see. :)

My guess date is Oct 18 based on conception (a week sooner based on LMP, which I don't give much thought to, since I know when I conceived). Depending on the pregnancy wheel, baby is estimated anywhere from Oct 18 - 22. The average length of pregnancy for a first time mother is 41w5 days, and statistically, I'm much more likely to go after my EDD than before.
My mom went 40weeks5 days with my sister and 39w6d with me (both based on LMP), so I'm probably less likely to be a super "long cooker." Still, I could easily go to November. That is fine with me too. I just would prefer to skip giving birth on October 31. Plus, with a homebirth, I'd hate to be pushing out a baby when half the neighborhood is ringing our doorbell for candy.
I'm due smack dab in the middle of Oct (well, the 13th), so I figure I will have the baby, if history repeats itself, at the end of Oct. I better not go to Nov! And I wouldn't want to have her in Sept either. Too early!
Nicole Busy with my two boys. The 'big boy' too. Oh, and a sweet baby girl, born at home in October.
This cracked me up.
I'm due 10/9, but since it's twins, they say it could be earlier than that. My son was due 9/18 and was born 9/24 (and was 10 lbs 1.6 oz), so I know I can keep a lot of baby in there for a while...I hope they stay in past his birthday. I'd like to avoid their birthdays all being right on top of each other...although I'm not sure why that feels so important to me! So, I guess we could be September...but I'm hoping for October.
well DS "hopes" the baby will be born on his birthday. Nov 11. That would be 40w18d, so I hope not. However November doesn't seem too outrageous, since EDD is 10/24. #1 was born and 38w2d, and #2 at 40w4d. So I don't see a "trend" there.

My due date is October 28 by LMP. At our NT Scan our Perinatologist gave me an 11-1-11 due due. I think I'll probably have an October baby but consider I'd love to go into labor naturally this time I realize we could very well have a very early November baby too.

My due date is officially Oct. 5, so it's entirely possible that I'll end up with a September baby. And as much as I joke to other people that I hope that will be the case, I very much doubt it will be. Out of my 3 babies, I've had only one before my due date, and that was only by 4 days. But, I can still hope! I'd honestly prefer a September baby - then I'd have one child's birthday in August, another's in September, and another's in October. Sounds so much better than getting to maybe as much as within a week of DD's birthday (who is mid-October).

Technically my EDC is 9/28, but since I went 2 weeks "over" with DS, I joined the October DDC as I feel it is more likely to have this one in October. plus the early u/s gave an eDC of 10/5 (which can't be right, but we went with it, since it gives me an extra week at the end).
I think it most likely this baby will be an October baby, which is fine, although we have a ton of things already to celebrate in October. my brother was born 10/4, my dad, 10/10, me 10/15, our anniversary is 10/22, and there are lots of extended family and friends that have birthdays in between. The likelyhood of an October birthday having his or her own birthday is very slim! but that is ok.

I'm due on Oct 13th, but with twins, I expect things earlier. How much earlier? Who knows! I'm trying to brace myself for anything, but in my head I'm thinking late September. I mostly want to be sure we're mostly prepared if things happen early...
