Well, it doesnt happen all the time, but sometimes it will stay that way for a few hours and it feels like the baby is right on my cervix and makes it ache! I had my cervix measured at my last ultrasound b/c of past cervical surgery..

This is the first time, in 3 pregnancies that I have experienced this...maybe its because of all the trauma its been thru? lol My cervix looks fine, btw. Anyone else? What could this beeeeeeee? redface.gif

I was going to post about this today. My crotch aches also. (I cannot believe I'm posting this on the internet!) This is also my 3rd pregnancy, but only 2nd child (D&C about 9 years ago for missed miscarriage.)

Around bed time, the left side of my va-jay-jay aches something terrible. It feels like someone is stabbing a knife into my pubic bone. I have no idea if it's SPD or just baby pressing on those nerves, because my entire left hip and thigh sometimes hurts too. Now I'll just hide after posting that on the internet. LOL bag.gif

Best thread title ever lol.gif

From very early on I have felt like this baby is sitting right on my cervix - lots of pressure and achiness!

Does it feel like you've had really rough sex or is it a different feeling?

Ah... good old ECP! (Evil crotch pain). I first experienced it with my first baby, along with most of my DDC at the time, and we dubbed it ECP. It's like an old friend who pops up every pregnancy. Totally common, and totally annoying!

I experienced that very same feeling often my last two pregnancies (without the fun, rough sex part, hahaha). This time around I've had it here and there usually when I feel the baby is very low.

Haha thanks for starting this thread! I've been experiencing similar pains but had never heard it mentioned or read about it, so I was worried that there might be something wrong (this is my 1st pregnancy). Glad to see it is pretty normal and I'm not the only one. It's pretty occasional for me, but when it does happen it's always kind of sudden, so I'm assuming maybe it's because the baby has just head-butted me in the cervix or something?

It could be because Baby is low it could also be normal uterine pains from growing, ligaments stretching, achy uterine muscles, etc.
