UGH. Fish oil clothes. :( That's terrible.

Ugh, shaving. I do NOT want to go into labor with unshaven parts. Unfortunately... I don't think reaching is even an option now. I thought it was tough (and painful--I nicked myself) the last time, and belly has grown since. I don't see it happening. Too bad.

Now that you mention it - I am using midwives, but if I was going to the hospital I would def get dh to shave a runway or something just for a laugh...maybe we should do it just incase of transfer...

Went to Wal-mart today (first day in 5 that I have gotten out of my PJ's) and picked up some munchies for the hospital bag...and "lost" the car in the parking lot.

Thanks a lot pregnancy brain...

There were a lot of people and it was pretty obvious that I could not find my car so I pulled out my cellphone and pretended to call my husband and was all

"Hey, did you go somewhere with the car while I shopped, oh, you parked over there!"

Yeah...smooooooth....

My husband has been on "hedge-trimming" duty for a few weeks now...I told him there is no way I can reach and I am NOT going to the hospital un-tended...yeah lol..

I can reach my legs ok but not my "under-carriage"

Any time I shave my "undercarriage" to use your term, the itch is too much! Even trimming and it itches. So that's a no go for me, ever.

I only itch if I shave my fat-patch...I just trim that and Im good...

I also use a lotion bar instead of soap/shaving cream and it leaves me all nice and soft/smooth....Ok, verging on TMI now lol!

I have a little Battery trimmer. I can do a buzz cut. I like that. No itch. Nothing for clots to stick to.
I made my husband do it. Last time I tried, mid 2nd tri, I cut myself. With an electric trimmer. D'oh!!

Moving right along...blush.gif

Dh sealed our bed this weekend! We did a major remodel on our room this summer and it is beautiful, but I didn't think ahead of time about how I am allergic to pine trees; thus the resin that was in our bed, which is so beautiful, was giving me killer sneezing, itchy throat, wheezing allergies. We're waiting for it to dry and defume and then I hope that solves the problem. It was now or never!

I was horrible and bought more clothes at the drop and shop. This was NOT on my to do list. But I couldn't resist them at all. No, not at all.

I harvested my celery. For some reason, it is insanely bitter. I tried to make soup, but I don't know...tastes pretty strong.

Now this week, we have to put the room back together, I have to make a bunch of bread dough for the freezer, make a bunch more granola, and hopefully sell the cosleeper.

Oh wow, Rosemary.. the whole pine allergy. Oops! lol I bet that was not fun. Hopefully the sealing does the trick for you.

I made my trip to Ikea today and found a Poang rocker frame for 50% off. I was PSYCHED. I also got books/toy storage. I still need a dresser and rug and then I'll be pretty much done in there. I'm ready for her to come whenever. We've been tracking contractions all evening and night. nothing too close together or consistent, but they keep on coming.

My dh keeps offering to trim for me, but I haven't taken him up on it yet - I can't quite get there.  Part of it is that I'm embarrassed, the other part is fear that it will look like a badly mowed lawn...

But I have finally gotten some things done!  So excited!

No freezer meals for me, but...

-went grocery shopping and stocked up on all staples

-legs waxed!! biggrinbounce.gif

-bought non-fishy undies and a robe (still sad about that)

-bathed the ancient dog

-wrote up care instructions for the ancient dog so that my parents don't kill her by accident while I'm in the hospital

-organized the nursery... again

-finished writing the 6th grade math curriculum for my replacement (only a month overdue, no biggie, right?)

-sewed tartan ribbons onto her baby bonnet

-cleaned the dining room to the point where we could eat off the table again (d'oh!)

-bleached the tub so that my parents don't think we live in squalor (we do)

-laundry. lots and lots of laundry.

Still need to...

-install the carseat  (I'm only two days overdue, no biggie, right?)

-pack the stupid dumb hospital bag

-go into labor.  Seriously, kid, go towards the light.  Let's get this show on the road.

I laughed too!  PACK YOUR HOSPITAL BAG TODAY!  THERE IS NO EXCUSE!

The idea of DH giving me a trim would be appealing if he'd ever done it before.  I don't want him to learn on me just now while - it's a little extra sensitive down there atm.  So, I'm trying to keep it under control by feel alone.  Also not so easy when my fingertips are numb.  I do have a little hand mirror, but it's hard to get myself and the mirror and the razor into the right position to accomplish anything.  I do just clip the upper bits so it's all nice and short but doesn't cause the irritation of regrowing hair.

My house is actually sorta cleanish today.  We had friends over this weekend; it was motivating.  Gotta keep up with dishes and laundry, though.

I've decided not to care about the lady parts being unshaven. I've embraced my crunchy side!

My hospital bag is mostly packed. I do have a list to go by when I feel like birth might be a bit closer. I did have lots of crampy contractiony feelings today accompanied by some back aches and general feelings of weirdness. I should really get on this job.

I bought DS longer pants and shirts today. Its been getting chilly lately and his pants from last year are all highwaters.

Trying to write report cards this week and make it to conferences on Friday. Trying to make sure my maternity sub knows what the heck he'll be doing.

The baby's room isnt ready bc we have had to repaint afterall. We tried to just spot paint over the ugly hawk mural on the wall (left over by the former owners) but after three attemts, we were unable to match the paint color. We finally bought the new paint color today and DH is busy oainting the room. Im just glad its not too big in the nursery.

Really though, there's another contraction-type feeling. What's going on here? Is tonight the night???

Saoirse - lightning bolt! ROTFLMAO.gif

I have finished my latest little list:

-meal plan so DH can grocery shop (always interesting)

-still need to paint toenails

-still need to write list for MIL while we're off at the hospital

-buy more RRL tea

-return library books

And, I went to throw in a load of laundry today and COULDN'T FIND A FULL LOAD!!!!  thumbsup.gif  That was amazing.  Go me!

I just finished the baby's quilt, just need to bind it.  Very exciting!

Lots and lots and lots of BH and baby has dropped down some, lots of jabs to the cervix (ouch!)  hopefully this means I won't have to maintain the clean TOO much longer!!

I got a light hung in the nursery today. Woohoo. lol Like that really needed to be done. :p I also picked up a package of chux pads that I need for the birth tote, and did a big grocery shopping trip.

Let's see..

I still need to register at the hospital.

I gave up on finding out about physical therapy. It can wait.

I need to figure out what I'm going to do for mini-crib bedding. Probably make something. :/

I need to reinstall car seat base in car.

I REALLY want to find something to be 'from' the baby that the boys can do/play with after she's born that will keep them entertained. BUT WHAT??!

This thread makes me wish I had not been so pro-active early in pregnancy.

Everythings done...ya know, except the whole labor part.

- My hospital bags are in the trunk

- Car seat is installed

- Snappies, extra diaper covers, second nursing bra and a post-pregnancy wardrobe is on its way from amazon.com

- Car is full of gas

- Doula is on alert

- Boss knows that if and when I go into labor at work ( Im a nanny) I am heading home to relax in the tub for a few hours before going to the hospital

COME ON JASPER!!!

Seriously though, last night I was cuddling with the husband and bitching about how Jaz needs to get here, so hubby gets up in my tummy and starts saying things like

"Come out, we have free cookies!!...Ok, we dont have cookies....but we have boobies!!"

Dork!!
