wave.gif  Welcome to MDC!

Here's another thread that was started earlier in this DDC regarding feeling the baby move quite early.  Several ladies here say they've felt their babies as early as 8 weeks.

I felt mine at 11 weeks! However, kept second guessing myself until yesterday (11w+6d). I was at my MW appt and we were listening to the heartbeat with the doppler. Then I felt a little wiggle. The baby moved away and we had to hunt around to find the heartbeat again. :)

Oh yes! I have felt baby since 9 weeks(now 11 weeks 6 days). And now, I find that the lil bugger is most active at night, as I lay on stomach to go to sleep. lol

Totally possible!  I'm at 11 weeks now and have been feeling some little wiggles for a few weeks now.  I think in subsequent children its easier to pinpoint.

I for sure feel it most when Im laying down at night to sleep.  The movements are still small enough that if Im moving around or up and going I wont feel anything.

I felt my DD (first child) at 14 weeks, this one I started feeling twitches around 9 weeks and it's gotten progressively easier to feel. I'm fairly hyper sensitive about my body though. lol

I felt my DD at 17 weeks (first baby and anterior placenta), but this baby, I am positive I felt it around 9.5 weeks.

I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow and am getting sporadic flutters, but not really kicks. Baby was measuring a week small, though (and even though most would suggest moving the EDD to avoid induction pressure, I tend to go slightly early, so I want to keep it there for the opposite reason!). So I figure its another month before I feel defined kicks. This is baby #4.

Okay so I'm feeling stuff going on down there, but I keep thinking I can't be feeling what I think I'm feeling.  It's not just flutters, it feels like kicking.  Little tiny kicks here and there maybe once or twice a day and I've also felt bumps on my cervix.  Is this even possible to be feeling these things at 11w4d?  Or is it gas or organ spasm or something?

Mine's moving all around.  I have felt bumps on my cervix, but mostly pokes/kicks on the front and sides of my uterus, especially when laying down (which is typical... babies wake up when we're not rocking them to sleep with our movement).

Is it like constant movement? like, does it last for minutes at a time?

For me, so far, it's been mostly isolated pokes, maybe two in a row at times.  And sometimes more of that rolling motion up against the side.  I haven't had constant movement for minutes and I didn't have that with either of my first two until later in the pregnancy- like sometime in the 20 week range.  I assume more constant feelings I've been having are gas or muscle spasms b/c they seem much too strong- especially compared to the tiny kicks.
