I'm in I wanted to give these a try till I can get my diva cup.

My order:

5 10" pads with fleece tops, wings, and snaps. I'm still deciding on what prints I want so I'll be back to edit.

I think I am eligible for Co-ops but maybe I should read the rules one more time

Ok so I changed my mind so this is my real order:

10 Asher liners with wings and aplix (the snap might be uncomfy)
1 Celestial
1 fifi
1 crimson fire
1 sunset
1 marsh
1 Ice cream
1 frogs
1 turtles
1 groovy
1 soul

OK all of these are with hemp fleece backing Forgive me but this is my first time in a co-op and first time w/ mama pads and I decided to get a Diva sooooo...... Anyway thats my story

PrincessCass, if you can access this thread than you are eligible to participate in the co-ops. I'll keep my eye open for your update!!
Pigpen, what pads you would use would depend on your flow. I use mainly 8" liners during the day with my Diva cup but I like the 12" pads at night. I like having a variety.

It all depends on what your usage is now. Are they for back up? Full time? do you have lng or heavy af? You will use the same amount that you use in sposie pads ussually, although many do report that there flow does lighten a little when switching to cloth.
Then decide how often you will wash. so if you go through 4-5 per day and will wash once during your cycle and once after you may want about 10 regular, 8 or 10 inch pads and 2 night pads and a few panty liners for light early and late days. I may be off, Like I said everyone is a lttle differnt and I have never used pads full time. There are other pad sites that offer info saying things like most need to start with about a dozen and such.
I use mine as back up for my Diva so i dont go through as many. But I like to have a variety!
Sorry so long hope some of it helps.

Ok, as I know Jessica is a busy person and really we are doing this coop together I will add some info.

I have not tried this particular WAHMs pads but I really liked the looks of her choices and she is very coop friendly so I thought it would be worth a try. I have really liked other hemp core pads so I want to check these out too, Plus Im a sucker for variety!

Anyways, prices listed in post 1 include shipping to us but not too you. Shipping will be first class unless over weight limit, then will be priority. I am sure I can cram quite a few in a flat rate envy for $3.85. If you only have a smaller order and prefer priority then let one of us know. We are going to try to get shipping prices figured out before you send payments so that you cna include them with the original payment. This will make it easier on everyone.

Paypal address are for funded: jkburt@hotmail.com
credit card to: lisamloos@yahoo.com, please include fees for cc

Hopefully this will close on Dec 7 with payments due by the end of the day on Dec 10th. This will be a very busy time for both of us, lots of work hours and such due to the holidays so please be patient in waiting for responses to questions and orders. It would be nice if these could be received and such by Christmas. I am not sure how long it will take to get the order after it is placed. Feel free to PM either Jessica or myself with any questions, or just post to the list!

Thanks!

Anyone who has tried mama cloth with hemp in it, does it get stinky? I have had trouble in the past with my DS's hemp diapers getting smelly, so curious if this would have problems too.

I've used basic hemp mama cloth a few times. I didn't notice any odour after washing.

I have had similar problems with my hemp diapers, but eventually have had issues with all my diapers.

I love my hemp pads.. I have never had a problems with any of them. I do soak them before washing though, and it isn't the same as a urine build up. Also most of the problem with the diapers is actually caused by a build up of detergent that is really hard to get rinsed out.

mama pads dont go through as many problems because they typically dont go through all the abuse diapers do since you only use them once per month, even if you wash once in the middle of your cycle and use the same ones twice, it is nothing compared to every 2-3 days like diapers. So the fabrics stay softer longer and stuff.

This is all just my personal experience though, others might have different stories.

I'm in for a few. I like variety. is there anywhere on the website w/ the measurements of the crotch area? I HATE bulky panties from the snap **never mind I found it on the site!

I've used several types of hemp pads and love it. It doesn't stink for me. And I don't soak but only have a 3 day flow and wash a load usually every day.

I will post totals with shipping for what we have so far just so you can know, sometime tomorrow evening. If you prefer priority mail shipping it will be a flat rate of 3.85. Just let me know when you give me your order, or if you have already ordered let me know anytime. Otherwise the prices I give will be for first class shipping.
