I've had two homebirths and I'm positive now that I had placenta abruption with my first homebirth. Everything turned out fine and I have a healthy son, but reading your story makes me think about what could have happened. I remember bleeding really heavy with all my contractions and passing large clots. Then my contractions were so bad that I was screaming during them. I was so loud that my husband was getting worried that the neighbors would hear me.

My neice was born still, I don't think there is anything more painful. There are no words.

When a stupid man is doing something he is ashamed of, he always declares that it is his duty. --George Bernard Shaw
It has taken a while for me to be able to finish reading about what happened to you and your Aquila. I would read a little and then it would become too painful and I would have to "walk away" for a little and come back. You are so incredibly strong to share this with everyone. May God's blessing be with you as you continue to heal and through it all know you are helping so many come to terms and work through their own tragedies.
and yes, I blog.
