What a beautiful birth story. I'm up in the middle of the night dealing with leg cramps and abdomnal pain at 33 weeks and it helps to read about your beautiful birth. Your daughters are beautiful and look pretty identical to me.

Congratulations on the beautiful birth of your girls! What an amazing journey!

If you are really curious if the placenta is one or two, you could take it to a pathologist to have it tested. If it's one, you'll know they are ID and if it's two, well you'll still be wondering

Thanks for sharing such an awesome birth story!

We tossed it : We'd considered saving it, but the hospital wouldn't take it since I didn't birth there. We had our very supportive pediatrician check them out the day after the birth and she wrote very nice letters for each baby so we can get birth certificates easily. Also mentioned that she could order DNA testing for them when we're ready. We'll find out eventually!

Congrats, and you did a *great* job! Both of you! Two cheezy little girls! And one posterior! They are beautiful and so are you! Great job, Mama! You are right about the OB, I'll bet. You would have set foot in that hospital, and they would have had you in OR before you could get back out the door! Congrats again!

great story and very pretty babys! I wish more women had the courage to have their twins at home instead of giving in to OBs who want to do a c/s.
congrats and blessings!

Wow! I had no idea twins could be born at home, unassisted. Nor did I realize they could weigh so much and be born at 37 weeks! Thanks for your story.

Good luck to you and your family!
